The biggest issue on my plate is worrying about the catheter since I had issues going potty for 15 weeks after I had my last abdominal surgery...

Nerves to pieces about that.. otherwise I would like to get right in tight with everyone to wedge myself in for the ride...

Thanks Jenny

Welcome to the board and also to let you know that you have one of the very best surgeons around. Have you shared with Dr. H. your concerns about the catheter? It might be that it isnt necessary or that he can do something about it ...
You are about to do something that will be the best thing you have ever done for yourself,. so you are right about it being a ride ....fun and scary too because you keep wondering if it will stop , thinking you are the one person that it doesnt work for ....follow all of Dr Hs rules and you will do great.

I did give him that information, and he told me to consult with my urologist. Which I did and Dr. Tackett advice was not to do it, if it's not broke don't fix it.

I had Dr. Tackett relay that to Dr. H and well his thing is it's necessary no way around it. I hate to sacrifice the whole peeing thing.. that's just bad, I can go without eating..but not peeing
