hey how is everyone today
sorry im so late today getting this posted lol got carried away doing some work and the satalite guy was here too...so everything all together makes for a late day.

it keeps looking like it is going to rain sometime dont know if it will rain or not but sure looks like it.
hope it does we really need the rain.
I guess i lost all of my watermelons due to the horrible heat....they looked like they got so hot inside that they just burst open. I called and ask the garden experts and they said that is exactly what happens to them ...so sad. i love watermelons....

My sweet potato vines are really beautiful hope they do well....i have a good crop of green beans again coming on and had a lot of hot peppers....

well got lots more to do today....have been trimming some bushes this morning and trimming back stuff so it doesnt look so overgrown and a little bit more controled.

need to go today or in the morning and clean up the tall grasses at the entrance of the driveway. so got to get busy i only have 4 days off so have a lot to do.
anyone have gloves will travel can come and pull weeds and haul off excess to the burn pile lol
will feed you well. and teach you all i know about gardening.

Glad to hear someone loves their garden, I love gardening just can not wait to have the energy to enjoy it LOL I live in town and have no yard , so I improvised and planted tomatos and peppers in the front flower beds and then on the side of the house put a piece of chicken wire on posts to lean up againt side of house and vined cucumbers up it ,just because my kids ,we all , just love fresh vegetables so much ..put it this way I have not got enough cucumbers in here at one time to make cucumber salad yet LOL and just starting to get peppers and tomatos . The tomatos that have been ready have gotten eaten like apples by the boys . Enjoy the rest of your days off , and your sattalite tv LOL

God Bless Mindy

Mindy i garden almost year round ...I have a great green house to play in , in the winter time. ...dont worry you will have all sorts of energy once you get rid of the excess weight.
sounds like you have found a way to do some gardening lol ...I not only do veggies but have about 3 acreas of pathways and flowers.  lots of fun .....has your husband come around to back you on your surgery yet?   hope you can come to the next meeting  which is on the 17th of Sept.....would love to meet you.

Went back to work today. I figure four weeks was long enough. I was really tired when I got home but managed to cook dinner.
Hear the heat is coming back. Just what we all need. We got the power bill today and was I surprised. I thought it would be much worse. I am not sure when it cut off so it might hit on the next bill. I wish I could afford a windmill and solar panels.

Susie i keep hoping that the solar panels will eventually  get within a normal price range so the average person can afford them ...

dont over do on work  you know.
