WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY

HEY  we are going to have a cold front come thru and not get up to but in the low 90s lol some cold front huh?

im doing this tonight because i am getting up really early to do some weeding....i will be out there by 6:30 Michele said she would get up and help me .....but didnt think she would be up by then lol She said that according to the weather down there is south Tex this wasnt that hot...

I went with her to town yesterday and my lord i thought i was going to die before we got back home...it was so hot. i told her i didnt think i would be riding with her anymore in there until it got a little cooler.

I did get some work done around the house yesterday tho. cleaned the bathroom really good. did some cleaning on some cabinets. tomorrow im going to paint my shelves i got to go over my stove and then get my micro wave back up over the stove so i have a little more counter space again.
we had to take the shelves i had down when we put in this old fashioned gas stove. ....and had to move the cabinets apart some. ...so had to buy longer shelves. finely got that done and  now to get Joe to put them back up....will get him to cut them to length tomorrow and i will sand and paint them  and then antique them some before i have him put them up...

well going to get to bed and will talk to you all some more in the morning. oh wow we forgot to put the garbarge out for in the morning so i better get out there and put it up by the curb.....darn.

Last night I was settled in my recliner when Max called me out on the deck.  He was watering.  He said I should come out because it was much cooler.  Cooler??  It was a bit better than it has been but it wasn't what I call cool. 

I was disappointed when I went to Long Silver's yesterday.  They no longer have the baked fish at the Raytown location.  Probably wasn't enough orders for it.  I should have just gotten Max an order and nothing for me but I ordered a shrimp/fish combo.  Yuck.....I picked off the coating but it still didn't sit well with me.  My mouth felt greasy and my pouch doesn't like anything friend.  I used to love their fried fish.

Staying off carbs as much as possible does make a difference.  I'm not feeling hungry all the time.  Still can't keep them under 50 but I'm working on it.

I got some instructions on tutoring my student.  First, I have to find out if she can spell in English.  If she can, getting her to write will be a little easier.  If not, then it will be like starting a kindergartener.  Can't believe she graduated from high school and can't write in English.  English is her second language.  I may be wrong, but my feeling is if you live in this country, then English should be your first language.

wow it has really been nice here today, lots of good rain and cool or at least so much more than it has been ...

Im like you i think that English should be the number one language in the U.S.   it makes me so mad that i will call someplace and it tells me to press a certain number to have it in English...no it just should be in English and if they want it in something else. then go where that is the number one language...you know other countries dont pander to the people that move there. ....even Mexico they tell you that you need to learn the language for your own benifitt....

 Went to KC today for a check with Dr Dass and am doing well. Worn out from the trip of course. I am pleased so far and would recommend him to anyone.
