WHATS HAPPENING WEDNESDAY

The little  man at the front that is burning up isnt because he is mad but just burning up from the heat. ,It sort of feels like you might do that doesnt it? spontaniously combust. Down here where we were the temp its self was 101 horrible heat , my flowers were laying over looking like they had been beat up..all except the marigolds and zinnias tough flowers. the hotter and dryer it is with those two the better. Hopefully you all are fairing as well as the marigolds and zinnias. lol
Hang in there we will be crying for the heat soon enough.

Ran around with Michele all day yesterday, She had the interview yesterday at the grocery store but the lady said she might be needing someone in a week if she was still interested then.

went to Verizon phone company and got her a phone added to our plan, just 10.00 a mo. She needs to have one with her that works in these hills. She had an AT&T and you might as well have two tin cans down here.
She is putting in apps everywhere in Forsyth that hires anyone first ....she said she would go to Branson after that . but would prefer working in Forsyth since it is so much closer.

There is so much weeding and cleaning outside to be done and i just cant get anything done out there. 5 or 10 minutes are about tops to be out there working.

Sounds like all of you guys are staying in as much as you can and staying cool so dont need to remind you again. lol
I have to get out there in a few and get the few things done that just have to be done. ....L

Susan and Andy you all know how I Feel ever since i have known about your plans. I know that God will be blessing you all over the place. It has been hard to not say anything to anyone till you all had all your plans finalized tho lol .Love you and we will miss you at the meetings , maybe once in a while you could come to one of them OK? it isnt that far from Tulsa..We all love you and will miss you...

To everyone else love you all too and dont be moving away ok?

I am staying inside as much as possible. I did go out to vote yesterday but didn't even walk to the mailbox. Its not as bad on me as before but it is still not good when its this hot. I hate to complain because winter will be here soon enough. I just need to figure out how to live in the south in winter and the north in summer. Maybe if I win the lottery. Can't see that happening any other way. I did see on yahoo there were condos in Florida selling for 25K. Makes me think......... I can only imagine what it would look like. Prices have fallen I know but that seems crazy.

Dh thought he was helping and pulled up all my zinnias thinking they were weeds. I was late planting and they had not bloomed yet but were close. Second year in a row he has done this. They were in a pot too. What can I say the thought was there.

Stay hydrated

Susan, my woman cave is very lonely.  With my volunteer activities, I haven't had a chance to work out there.  I'm hoping this weekend I can do some quilting.  I have vacation the first week of September so surely I can work out there then.  I also have some painting I want to do then too.

Jan, when I saw that little devil I wondered if something was wrong, glad there isn't and he's there because it's so hot.  Max has been watering everything but he doesn't do anything else outside.

We went this morning and signed a bijillion pieces of paper to refinance our house at a very low rate.  Our payments now are way less than rent.  We thought in another year we would sell and move back to Blue Springs, but we will stay where we are.   We're not crazy about Raytown, but it's nice having a house.  I definitely don't want to move to an apartment.

The scale was down 1 lb. this morning.  I'm really working on low carbing.  I think once I get de-carbed it will be easier.

Hope Michele finds a job soon.

Good Afternoon OH,

Well it's official I am 3 lbs. to qualifying for the century club. Had my app with Wendy and weighed in at 268, which was a WOW moment for me cause my scale at home showed 271 this week end.

Go to my new PCP tomorrow, and am asking him to prescribe chantix, Wendy said that is what a lot of the WLS patients are using and getting good results.

All seems to be going OK. I am getting the hang of managing my finances and have paid most of the bills on time so far this month, and looks like the rest will also be paid on time. That makes me feel a lot more confident.

Jan~The little red guy got me nervous too, glad it just referred to the heat. Has Michelle tried registering at the MO Job Website? Sometimes you can put applications in online.

Susie~I want to move south for winter too. Guess I better start playing the lottery, if I win I'll buy a big enough place so all my friends can come and stay with me.

Susan~Will Andy still do the Bible reading post? If I get a trip to Tulsa will have to make sure and get in touch and stop by to see you.

Jo~How is the vonlunteering working for you? Thought about doing some myself, maybe at the Hospital, I know that the vonlunteers at St. John's are really a great bunch of people and there are different things I can do.

Need to get some much needed housework done so will post and talk to you all later.

Lots of HUGS
