Pretty looking sunshine this morning but i know it will be miserablly hot out again today.....if this month is hotter than JULY then we are in big trouble....I have got to have time off to get some weeding done. My flowers look pretty bad. ..or sad or something . the only thing blooming i think is the cleomes, zinnias, and marigolds. oh and balsums. Wow you should see the passion vines i planted. they have the trellies that i planted them by totally covered. and the elephant ears are really doing well too. the cannas as long as i keep them watered daily look pretty good. as do the impatients.
So i guess there is a lot still in bloom just lots of weeds in there too.

Today Michele said she is going to go to Forsyth and look for a job at all the places there. I wish she had been hear last week they were hiring at the Verizson place.....She said first she is looking in Forsyth and going to apply at everything there ...hope she finds something soon so she will have something to do daily..She is sort of a mess right now. She says her head says that she did the right thing by leaving him but emontionally she is a mess. that is why a job would be great for her.

well it is going to be a totally hot one again today and all week, they say the heat indix this week will be 105 to 110 oh my lord....well no sence worring about it just stay inside as much as you can and thank God for A/C....love you all and hope things are the best in the world for all of you...

QUESTION OF THE DAY::::::: WHAT IS THE EASIEST WAY TO ANNOY YOU OR TO PUSH YOUR BUTTONS.
I think mine is lazy people....not putting things back where they belong or not doing anything unless they are told to do it ...

Jan, I hope you got a good night's rest.  Put Michelle to work pulling weeds.  That should clear her head.   Hope she finds a job and can get settled.  Is the grandson living with you her son?

Our Crepe Myrtle is just beautiful and the Hibiscus is blooming.  I just love Hibiscus.  It was very muggy when I left for work at 7:10 so even then it wasn't good weather to be out working.

Tonight is my first night with my Literacy student so I'm a little nervous.  I planned the lesson yesterday.  Really didn't want to meet on Monday evening but she works 2 jobs and only has Saturday and Monday available.  We are supposed to meet twice a week for 90 minutes.

I made Egg Salad and I liked it.  Brought some for lunch today with Lentil Soup.  I knew if I didn't like it Max would eat it.  Crazy that it tastes so good and eggs fried or scrambled taste so nasty.

I'm really buckling down to try to lose the 20 to 30 lbs.  It's finally sunken in I have to avoid carbs.  I cooked a spaghetti squash and really liked it.  In my old life as a WW I tried it several times but didn't like it.  I added a little butter and salt and pepper.  I'm going to try it with pasta sauce and cheese.

What pushes my button?  People who park in the fire lane in front of a store and drivers who go as far as they can in a construction zone then expect to cut in front of everyone.

JO::::: yes the grandson that is living with me is Micheles son. hopefully they can mend their relationship some too.

Yes the crepe Myrtles are in full bloom and the hibiscus are all in bloom too. /

yeah i hate that too , the driving in the lane of construction up to the very end and then want you to stop and let them in . how rude.

Wasn't on all weekend so I missed the drama with Michele. So sorry you had to go through this, Jan. Our kids definitely make us crazy!!

The thing that annoys me the most is the lack of respect and lowering of morality that is happening in our society. Too many things to list but in general it is just everything is OK - and it isn't.

Hugs,
Lana

Lana, yep kids are our kids until we die i guess. cant believe some of the things they can do.

i think that most of it is from what annoys you. the lack of morals in this world now days is so much like Sodom and Gomora...wonder how God can watch all of this that is going on and not want to slap them all up besides the head at least.

I am up and around a little more. I am bored to tears. I am hoping the next doctors visit will clear me to do a little more. I am swelling some but not too bad. I am two weeks out today I guess I am wishing for miracles. Can't hurt to hope. It still hurts to sit for very long but I guess it always will without the fat back there. Trade off I guess. I was worrying about losing weight but I have gained a couple pounds back. I guess I really wasn't eating enough. DH is feeding me very well now that he is back from his trip.
