I thought I would stop by and see how everyone is doing! I am doing o.k. but am really having a hard time with the excess skin. It has really been botheing me lately. I want to have a body lift but can't afford it. I haven't called my insurance yet so I am not sure they won't cover any of it. I am just not comforable with my body. Clothes don't fit right and when I excersise the skin flops up and down. Something has to be done. Any encouraging words?---Pennisweet
Penni there are medical loans that you can get that are pretty reasonalble and the teaching hospital at KU is cheaper than most places . they also have a payment plan i think.....anyway several of the girls have gone there. Barbara can you get on and give her the number and any info you know ....

I had an extended Tummy Tuck on 5/12/10 at KU Medical Center Plastic Surgery Residency Program and it was amazing. They are so very nice and competent. The consult was no charge and the aftercare and surgical garment is included in the fee. For my surgery the total cost was $4,200.00 and that included the surgery center, anesthesiologist and surgeon. We used a line of credit on our house and I'm paying it off that way. Call and talk to them about a medical credit card plan they use. Their number is 913/588-2000

check out resident programs, I had a great one @KU. I am eight days out from a full lower body lift and so far I am very happy. I love the doctor I had and would recommend him to anyone. Dr Dennis Dass is great. I got the works, lipo on my outer thighs, built up my butt and all the skin removed. I even got to keep my belly button which I didn't care about.
I plan to go back for more work as soon as I can afford it. Mine was about 8200 with a stay in the hospital. But still a bargain compared to what most charge. I got one estimate for just a tummy tuck for 9300 and that was just the doctor. It pays to shop around.
In the mean time get some good shape ware like spanks and it will help out.
