any lapband revisions to RNY on here? mine is this thursday
I'm worried b/c i've read that band revisions/removals who switched to RNY lost very little weight...
any knowledge of this? i'm 390+, about to have surgery in 5 days and after reading this stuff about revisions w/ the band to RNY, i'm worried if i am doing the right thing? i hate to risk my life to lose weight and then NOT lose any or barely any weight.
Some of the people i read about lost like 20-30 lbs then stopped. Dude, I have 200 to lose. I can't even imagine what I'd think if I lost only 20-30 lbs! I'd be devastated.
I know part of me is just nervous, but I keep thinking about the "what if's".
Thanks in advance!

HI! I had my rny almost 2 years ago. The Dr. wanted me to loose 160, I've lost 180 lbs to date and still loosing. I'd like to loose another 10 lbs. It can be done! Like everyone else said following the rules is KEY. Even when you get out a year or so you still have to stick with what they told you to do in the begining. Don't waver! Best of luck to you. I know you'll do great and you're going to feel like a million bucks! :D Lou
