WHATS HAPPENING FRIDAY

WOW i finally got my hair cut yesterday ...is it ever short ...but feels so much better...couldnt get in to see her till 5:30 yesterday evening ....but still got home earlie enough to still watch Dance vote off night. and then they didnt vote anyone off. and next week will be tow of them to go. I think one of them will be Billy because he just doesnt have much of a personaility to me it seems. and since most of the voters on this is young girls , then im almost sure of it. ....but i have been wrong before. lol , no really i have been wrong at times lol

Yesterday i got another flower bed completly de-weeded and put some more Preen down. after about 3 months you need to re apply the Preen and that is what happened to me i forgot, with working how quick the days and nights go buy....I almost had a heat stroke yesterday...i got so hot and quit sweating was just fire engine red in the face . got dizzy and was so thirsty. good thing i started noticing all of it and got in the shade and stared drinking water then got into the house and sat down in the bath tub and turned the water on. clothes and all. Joe was out on the riding lawn mower and didnt even notice i wasnt outside working ....anyway im ok but today im going to spend just drinking water and drinking water and drinking water ...oh yeah and going to go out early , as soon as i get done here and start in with the preen ,....take care out there everyone and please stay hydrated and know that we de hydrate faster than a lot of people do. so keep drinking tha****er a lot , not tea or anything with caffine in it that just dehydrates you more.  water !!! you can put crystal lite in it if you wish but plain water is better ...i like mine icy cold with lots of ice in it.

well better get busy if i want to get that Preen spread before it gets too hot out. and knowing me i will find something else to do while out there. ...Hopefully this heat will break soon maybe the tropical storm that is coming in on the gulf will send some rain up this way...Sure hope so. We really need it since it has been so hot and dry. that just zaps the moisture out of the ground so fast.

Got to go the tree guy is pulling into the driveway. we called him about taking out a tree that is spliting and could come down on our house lol dont need that. love you all

Jan, you need to be more careful and not get so overheated.  That's dangerous. 

You asked yesterday if I ate the bun and the hamburger.  I took the bottom half off and ate some of the top, then just ate on the burger.  I ate about 3/4 of the burger and the dogs got the rest.  Hamburger buns seem to wad up in my pouch or before it gets to the pouch.  Wendy's buns are a little easier to digest but can't do even all of a half bun.  It was dumb for me to order a burger anyway.  A salad would have been much better.

Max saw the surgeon yesterday and he doesn't recomment hip replacement.  He wants him to have an injection directly into the hip. 

I've backed on my offer to help my son's girlfriend clean her house.  She works 40 hours a week just like I do, but has no hobbies, doesn't cook, obviously doesn't clean and does no volunteer work.  If she was ill or disabled I would help her out, but there's no reason she can't do the cleaning.  I have my Literacy student and I just got a care receiver for Stephan Ministry plus I do cook and clean.

I ordered Any Whey, an unflavored protein powder recommended for baking.  They suggest adding it to all kinds of hot foods.  Wonder if it will work in coffee and be easier to mix. 

Susie, hope you're feeling better today.  I know I don't want to have that surgery.  I'll just buy Spanx.

So glad it's Friday!! 

Tell Max that the injections sort of hurt but they sure do help , i get them in both my shoulders about evry 6 months. ....funny the hot humid summer hurts them more than winter but could be because i use them more in summer. 
lol i dont blame you for backing off on helping the girl friend clean, she probably wouldnt anyway. more than likely she will say she needs this and that. even tho they dont fit she wont get rid of stuff. 

Oh i use my whey protein powder in almost anything i want to and it works good or seems too. 
I dont have any problems at all in mixing my powder dont know why all of you say it wont mix. I dont mix it directly in hot coffee but in ho****er and mix it with a fork ....it mixes well as far as i can tell....
 

 Jan be careful outside .You can get heat related problems days after you were exposed. It doesn't always happen the same day so stay inside today.
I am doing better today. Lots of the swelling is going down. I am weighing myself daily to ee if I can tell the difference. I am looking for the five pound drop. I still have some swelling but nothing like two days ago.
I think I go back to the doctor on Monday to get my drains out. DH has been talking to the doctor for me. I am taking my pain pills like clockwork. No need to hurt if I do not have to. I am moving around much better today. Still sleeping on the recliner but may try the bed tonight. I need to take pressure of my rear end.
I am thinking I am going to be well pleased with my results as I heal. I cannot wait to see the final results. I am happy so far and would recommend my doctor to anyone.
I dread the ride back to Kansas City but will be so glad to lose the drains. Hope everyone stay s inside and cool. Thanks for all the prayers ,they were felt and they worked.

Susie il m glad that you are beginning to feel better....by Monday you will  be feeling some better and when you get the drains out you will feel a lot better.
I am trying to stay out of the sun it is hard but im also having to stay inside a lot.

Jan what is the store you buy your Whey Protein? I forgot the name.

i use to buy the high price stuff i got from food 4 less but now i just buy the store brand at Wal mart....to me it isnt any different. the values are the same and it has the same taste so why spend more. lol

Hi All...

Only have a short minute before I leave for the Doc's.  Eye ulcers ARE painful! OUCH OUCH OUCH!!! Kay... got that out of my system...  Have been in the doc's office 3 times this week with it... have to put drops in it every hour and boyee did they burn on Wednesday!  Have been working up garden and onions... OUCH again!

I am doing ok with it but the doc says I will have some scarring and we will deal with that later... not sure what he means and I'm scared to ask.... he said he needs to get me better first.  Not sure how I got it ... he says it could of been alot of diff things.... so???

I will write more when I have time... thanks all for the thoughts and prayers for... you guys are tops!

Bec are the ulcers on your eye balls ? that is sort of scary isnt it?  i guess you are having to take off from work for sure arent you?
will keep praying for you and hope that you have no problems with them later.

Finally had a pretty good paycheck so could get at least one of the past due bills paid, one more to go next week. Really gets scary when you don't know if you can pay them.

Jan~You need to be careful, I agree with Susie you never know with heat how it will affect you. Want to see the hair cut, I loved mine after I got it.

Jo~Have been craving a burger, but want to wait till I'm six months out before I do beef, I love the Hardees low carb burger, no bun, wrapped in lettuce, probably take me a couple of days to eat it.

I think you are right, when you work a full time job, you have enough to do taking care of your home.

Susie~Sounds like you are feeling better, can't imagine what you are going through. Am keeping you in my prayers for things to heal fast so you can enjoy the new you.

Bec~I've never heard of eye ulcers, sure hope you get better quick. They may not know what causes them. Praying that they heal and you are back to normal.

Well I'm doing better, did go through some of DH's things and have his clothes ready to take to the free store in Ava. It's really been a chore sorting through all the stuff he had. He was a "Hoarder". Went through and got a huge black bag full of trash, and most of that came out of his dresser drawers.

Been busy so don't get on here as much as I need to, when I get home I'm usually headed straight to bed.

Well need to close this and get my bed cleaned off so I can use it tonight. Love you all and hope everyone has a good weekend
