WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY

Thursday again ....second day of my five days off. darn....man am i sore, it has been awhile since i spent all day long working in the yard. I kept in the shade and there was a nice breeze so it wasnt bad or at least as bad as working in the sun.  watered and put down Preen, and fertalized plants etc etc all day. i pulled so many weeds that my hands were green last night , even after washing them over and over. finally had to resort to bleach to get the green off. I start off wearing gloves and somewhere along the line they get left here and there. I find gloves of mine everywhere. On the swing, the bar b q grill , on the side of a flower pot. well you get the picture. i take them off and forget them.

Today i have to repot some really big plants into some larger pots. Hope i can find one big enough for the largest Angel Trumpet. It is about 7 years old and the trunk of it is as big around as my wrist. then the next one down in size i can put in the pot that the biggest one was in....The purple double one is going to have to be repotted too. when i move them on the ground where i have them for the summer they pull their roots up so the roots are coming out the bottom....good sign wouldnt you say lol

I weeded 6 flower beds yesterday, still have those two out front and have to get them done today....no two ways about it. they are right out front so everyone sees them lol ....
looks really messy  ...so i guess i had better get to it.

Susie sure hope you are feeling better today than yesterday and each day goes better and better.

Susan where are you and what are you doing ?

Becky how is your eye this morning. I guess you havent been able to work with that ulcer in it huh?

Jeanie how are you doing ? are you still getting to work daily? You looked so amazing at the meeting the other night....keep up the good work you will get to feeling better and better ...

got to go and start in on those flower beds. ...love and hugs everyone.  love you bunches.

I actually got out of my recliner by myself this morning but it was very painful . I hope I didn't rip anything. I am very swollen, especially my upper rear end. I am itching a lot. I could not move without my pain pills. I hate the compression garment. I am very glad I got the freshette to be able to potty standing up. Keep me in your prayers. I do not know when I go back to see the doctor. Dh is calling him today to let him know how my drains are doing and I guess he will set up an appointment then.
I have no appetite at all . I am drinking my protein. I just want to sleep but cannot get comfortable. I am getting the stinging and itching so I know I am trying to heal. I may try to sleep in the bed tomorrow night. I do not know if I can get out of bed or not. I just know I want to lay on my side and get the pressure off my rear. If I am sounding like a broken record excuse me because I am medicated.

I hope you are all doing well and staying cool.
Susie

Susie, sounds like you are really miserable, but think how gorgeous you'll be once you're healed.

If I ever thought I wanted PS, I know now I don't.  I get pains just reading about yours!!

Today is supposed to be extremely hot with a heat index of 110.  I could do without the heat index info.

Last night I went straight to the gym and worked out 45 minutes.  I took my Kindle and rode the bike longer than I intended.  The time goes quickly when I'm reading.  On the treadmill I keep hitting the stop button with the Kindle and the thing stops suddenly.  After exercising, I went to Walmart and practically bought out the store.  By the time I finished, I was so hungry and feeling so weak.  Went to Wendy's and got Max his usual and instead of a salad got me a burger.  I ate way too fast and was so uncomfortable.  Most of it came up.  That hasn't happened in a long time.  I didn't sleep well either and I think it was from eating at 8 pm and eating too much.

Where is Becky?  Haven't heard from her in a long time.

Jo im like you i could sure do without the heat index....stupid if it feels like it is 110 then why dont they say that is what it is lol

you probably ate too fast and too much , when we get too hungry we sometimes forget what we should and shouldnt do ...and do all of the wrong things completly. did you eat the whole hamburger bun and all ? if i can eat all of the meat in a hamburger i sure cant get any of the bread down with it. dont fall for that old thing again girl...feel for you i think we all have done it more than once.

Bec has an ulcer on her eye....would imagine it is pretty painful

Hello Missouri,
Only have a few minutes but wanted to get on to say HI to everyone and to tell Susie about how to get out of bed when it hurts. I don't know if you already know this but if you'll lay on your side facing the outer edge of the mattress and really close to the edge and then try to swing your legs down as you push yourself up. It's sort of a pendulum effect and really helps me when I'm in any kind of pain. I know I sleep better in my bed than anywhere else. Guess I was right about the backside hurting most!!
I know you'll soon be so much better and coming to the meetings to show us the new, improved you!!
Hugs and loveys,
Lana
