whew!!!!!! got out early i thought and did some gardening....wasnt until i noticed that i was wringing wet with sweat that i decided it was way to hot to be outside.    did gather lots of seeds already ....some people have spoken for different things.....will be drying them and packaging them up soon.,,

pickted all the ripe tomatoes , need to do something with some of them...they are sure good to eat just like they are but i cant keep up with them now. of course they are all starting to rippen at once.
also picked two more quarts of green beans to put in the freezer, have the water boiling to blanch them in a little bit...

Joe said he was going to do more weed eating and i told him no you need to see if the dryer part is going to be in and get the dryer fixed. and then i gave him a list of things he needs to do in the house , cause it is just too hot to work outside.. im afraid he will fall over from the heat.

Have to go to work again this evening. and then tomorrow and then i am off 5 days....looking forward to that for sure. maybe i can get some things done . I juscant get out and work too much on these horribly hot days and then go to work , it just zaps me too much ...

will get this posted and hope we see more of you posting today...stay cool...

I had RNY 2 years ago so don't know much about the band.  A woman in my office had lapband and lost about 80 lbs.  She ate whatever she could keep down and drank a lot of alcohol.  She put back 50 lbs. but has taken some of back off.  She initially needed to lose about 130 lbs.

Jan's advice is very good as always.

It's normal to be anxious.  Good luck to you and let us know how you're doing.

It's way too hot to work outside.  Those poor guys doing road work or construction are really in for a miserable day.  Max is wanting to clean up our fence line but it's too hot and with his hip hurting, he needs to stay inside.  No one lives on the north side of us.  There are bushes that are so overgrown.  They've not been trimmed this year.  They growing over and thru the fence.  I told him he should trim them and toss the stuff back in their yard.  We shouldn't have to pay to have it hauled off.

This morning I had a protein shake using Inspire powder instead of Click.  My Click supply is low.  This shake had 30 grams of protein whereas 1 scoop of Click only has 8.  Usually, I'm hungry by 9 am but not today.  I have a salad with deli ham and some cheese for lunch then I'll make a shake this afternoon.  I had a 100 calorie package of almonds for a snack.

I brought my clothes to change into this evening.  I did forget my gym ID but they will give me a temporary pass.  I should get there by about 5:30, workout for about an hour and still get home early enough to make dinner.  Max might be eating a frozen dinner and I'll have another shake.

I have some recipes I got from Bariatric Eating that sound really good.  I will post them.  The Pumpkin Cheesecake is delicious.

Jo that is why i don't use the Click , it is good but not enough Protein. so it is almost like drinking only a cup of coffee.  I make my own protein coffee with protein powder a little splenda mixed together then add the coffee, get 30 grams of protein plus my coffee which taste like a cappachino. sometimes i add a half package of sugar free hot choc mix into it and taste like a mocha cappachino . and it holds me over till noon no matter how hard i am working inside or out.

good luck on the exercising. you go girl...keep it up and that excess will be gone before you know it.

watch the desserts even made with splenda they may have lots of calories and carbs that can sabotage you ...let us know how the exercising goes....you can do it.

Oh, but, Jan, Click is in a category by itself.  I'm addicted to it!!  I add a scoop to almond milk and top with whippage.  I tried protein coffee again last week, but I just don't care forit any more.

I put my food for today in the nutritional section on OH and for once, protein is way up and carbs way down!!  I brought a Fiber One bar to eat on the way to the gym, but I may forget that because of the carbs....something like 29.

I haven't looked at the sugar but I've been eating them for a long time.  They don't bother me.  They have 9 grams of fiber so that helps with the 29 carbs.  I don't have one every day.

I had a slice of cinnamon raisen bread and it bothered my pouch a little.  It has 8 grams of sugar.  Sometimes sugar bothers me and others times not.
