WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY
Hello my dearies,
I was so bummed that I couldn't get out to go to the meeting and also feel so sorry for the people whose house caught on fire. They were out there putting tarps on the holes in the roof and moving stuff out onto their lawn and I felt like I should stop and help but it's so hot and I'm not very good at lifting. I may go over and volunteer to do laundry for them later.
This is the Saturday we do cleaning. We clean every other Saturday and I dread it until I get started and then I'm fine with it.

I was prepared to show everyone my results - most of the swelling is gone now - but as I told Jan on the phone, I was prevented by an Act of God. The fire truck was pulling out as Jan and Joe went by our street on their way home. I checked at 7:00 and 7:15 to see if I could get out but the neighbors said the firemen were still there putting out hot spots and there was a Nixa PD car across the street. Made me realize that we really have only one way out of our part of the development. Oh well, such is life!!

Lana we were bummed out that you didnt to come either but since it was an act of God maybe he was preventing you from being involved in somthing else that would have been bad. Sometimes when we dont get to do the things we want to do we never know what might have been and that is ok. God is taking care of it all. there will be other times for us to get together....remember next month it is on the 13th i believe ,,,,
