Waynesville / St Robert Support Group
We had a great group meeting yesterday, wish more would have been able to make it. But maybe next time!! :)
We sampled several different types of protein and shared protein shake / drink & snack recipes
Suzie brought a fish oil sample which was more like a star burst. Not too bad.
We shared concerns over protein intake, water intake, vitamins and other issues one or more of us are / were having. Discussed different places where we all get these supplies / needs meet and how much or how little they cost. The dietician that attends most meetings was, as always FULL of information and resources. She is truly a blessing to have attend and she is the sweetest gal you could ever meet.
I have heard from one gal who would like to meet during the week or in the evenings, I am having issues finding a location that supports evenings, and didnt know if anyone else had any suggestions and if more would attend if we held one in the evenings on a weeknight. You can post replies on here or privately message me.
Next month we are back to our regular schedule unless the library has a conflict

I had no clue there was a meeting, life has been super busy, I have finals at school and I just got back from out of town and i have my surgery next week on thursday. right now im doing my 2 week protein liqued diet. i feel so dead from it like i have no engery. but im working hard to not cheat i really just want to chew something. but i keep in touch with friends that have had the surgery and we talk everyday and support each other but i really would like to be part of the meetings. if you can give me a call if you find a place to meet up. i was thinking price cutters in the starbucks area where all the tables are. its free. well call me if that works 573-433-2310 Jessica.
