lol yeah it would seem like we were morning folks....
Tracy it is Calcium citrate....and you need at least 1200 mg a day but you cant take all of it at one time need about two hours at least between...

so glad that the 5 day pouch test worked for you....you still have the instrument...now it will be you and your pouch to get down further....they say the first year it is all the pouch working , the second year it it is about equall of you and the pouch and after it  third year it is you with the, knowledge that your pouch works ,,,

Good Morning OH,

Kind of quiet here this morning, my oldest son had to go to KC for work, he will probably be up there most of the time from now on since they gave him a permanent possition. Did go out and pick the zuchinni and grape tomotoes, looks like I'll have more green beans in a couple of days.

I love them but can buy the frozen ones and they work for me, am freezing what I get though so at least they aren't going to waste. Am going to bake zuchinni bread for the kids, love zuchinnini too, and will enjoy it while it lasts.

Am having a lot of new emotional things going on, just trying to cope with the everyday things sometimes seems so overwhelming.

Got a question, how does alcohol affect us after surgery? I'm not a big drinker, but wanted a bloody mary so bought a small bottle of vodka and tomato juice. Had a couple of drinks and didn't get drunk, just a little buzz. Didn't worry till this morning, just wondering if it would do more to me than a normal person?

Well time to get breakfast and my vits, so will post and come back later. Hope everyone has a good day.

HUGS

most doctors dont recomend drinking anything at all till you are at least a year out...i think more than anything it is the calories and that it can be habit forming is another and it fills the pouch with worthless stuff when it needs protein and water  . i havent had a drink since i had surgery so dont know what it will or wont do for me ....some say it gets you drunk really fast and then goes away really fast so it is easy to overload in a short amount of time...anyone else know anything about this????
