WHATS HAPPENING WEDNESDAY JULY 7TH

Good morning , awoke with the sun and now it is getting black and dark out again. guess we are going to have another round of rain this morning again. at least it looks like it will....my grandson yesterday when going to school said it was raining so hard that his wipers couldnt keep up and he could barely see to drive....Thank You God for keeping him safe. My daughter called me last night really excited so far about her new job....Thank you God for opening that up to her. I am praying that she will still enjoy it years down the road. I think if she stays with it she may be really surprised about what she will recieve from it.

I have the next three days off ....i sure am glad, i dont think i could have gone one more day . I am so tired...hopefully these people will come thru with the financing for the house and we can close on it. i think then i will give my resignation at5 work. i need to concentrate on getting this leg fixed and some other things. done plus want to go to AZ this winter anyway....so hopefully they get their financing done...

well i wi**** would decide if it were going to rain or not this morning. i have green beans to pick , pepprs and tomatoes to pick too. went out and fed the chickens this morning and counted 26 baby watermelons on the vines. oh by yummy. my sweet potatoes the vines are really looking good. hopefully they will produce us some good sweet taters.

I have been out doing my walk around as Joe calls it. that way i know what i have to do that day...sometimes it is pulling weeds  , or watering a bed , ..picking up limbs or fixing something or the other....filling a pond up or moving a rock it is always something and i love to do it too as it is my morning walk with God...the time i pray and meditate. love that time alone with HIM....sets the tone for my whole day....

well need to get the coffee made so i can have my cup of protein coffee. and decide what i want to do if it rains. love and will post more later

 I am hoping to finish my flower bed today, or I should say the wall around it. Because its on such a slope I am going to have to buy more blocks. The lower side is going to be tall but to even come close to level I have to have the lower side at least five blocks high. Its high enough to sit on and the upper side is almost level with the ground. I am so tired of messing with it. It would be so much easier if I were starting from scratch.

We need to keep one of our own in prayer today , Karen hasn't been on here for a while but her cousin and her husband were shot and killed by the 12 year old son.This was the one in Kiaser     up near the lake of the ozarks. There are four other children involved. So sad.

Well I need to get  off my rear and get busy. Have a great day everyone and count your blessings. There are so many people hurting but things could be worse so we all need to try to be happy with what we have.

the wall of your flower bed sounds like quite a job ....wow....i bet it will look nice when you are done tho.
Oh wow so sorry to hear that about Karens cousin.. so sad the things that kids do today isnt it? Did he have a reason...i didnt hear any of this on the news , of course i dont get to watch the news a lot anymore. 

I agree with you about counting our blessings. we all have them and some never pay any attention to those but concentrate on the bad things instead.

I'm still kicking!  This surgery was ruff.  I've been fighting nausea and its driving me crazy.  I go for my follow up appt today. I'm hopeful that he will remove this drain.  I have my doubts.  Its still putting off quite a bit of fluid.  I'm still very swollen. The worse part of this has been the liposuction.  Oh my I don't know how people get this done all over thier body.  HELL NO!  I think I'm going to be very happy with my results in the following weeks.  I just really hate to be down.  I know its a must but doesn't make me happy. I took my pain pills and got online late one night.  Needless to say I bought all kinds of crap off Ebay.  The pacakges should start rolling in this week. LOL  I listed my own house last week, I'm praying it will sell fast so I can move on with my life.  That house has been a big thorn in my side threw my divorce.  God willing it will sell asap.  I hope everyone has a wonderful day! :D Lou

Lou, hope you feel better very soon.  Do you have plenty of Click to get you thru this?  I fixed my Click and opened a new can of whippage only to find it was defective.  All that came out was a few drips of cream so I had to drink it without whippage. 

When I hear about the pain people have with this kind of surgery, makes me think body suits and Spanx will do me fine.

Good morning to all.the sun was shining here too for a little while but now it look's like rain here.the weather said we might see rain off and on all week.when it rain's it pour's.lol.

jan they sure have been keeping you busy at work.they sure do know how to work you.is the nurse that need's a pitch fork still doing all the thing's wrong with her paper work?i was told that is one of the reason's why the state is coming back.
you be carefull out in your garden.we sure do not want you to fall anymore.you are right when i do something i do a good job of it.lol.i will be coming home after my surgery tomorrow.we should be able to make it to the meeting on the 16.

Susan...yes the nurse that should have the pitch fork is still there and still doing her same ole stuff. has gone to day shift and at least the DON can keep her eye on her now....at least we donht have to be tattle talers anymore. lol and she pulled the same stunt about 45 minute smoke break the first day she was on days....stupid woman, anyway she got caught and chewed out but  of is still there. dont know why that is for sure other than we are so short of nurses.....

will be saying a prayer for you tomorrow for your surgery....

Had some sprinkles coming in this morning and it's cloudy.  Forecast is for rain every day except Saturday.

How awful about Karen's family tragedy.  I did hear about it on the news.  I was so glad to hear that the little girl that was taken from her yardin Louisiana,MO was found and seems to be okay although I'm sure she suffered trauma being taken like that.

I talked to my son last night and he is doing better.  His voice is back and his BP and heart rate is normal now.  Today his counselor will call Valley Hope about him coming back there.  We are hoping he can go back there because he has a good relationship with the counselor.  His employer mailed 2 checks to his home so that is a good thing.  Barbara's meeting with her mom about helping them out financially went well.  She prepared a budget and her mother will help them as long as Greg completes the program and doesn't drink.  I can give them $20 now and then but no large amounts of money.  The attorney didn't call yesterday so she was going to call him today to see if he can do anything about the DL suspension.

Yes, I think my troubles are big, but I can look around and see others far worse off.  At least, Greg is getting help and it's really up to him if he is successful.  All the worrying in the world will not change his situation.  He has to want to change.  We can support him but it's up to him.

I got a nice surprise in the mail.....a check from my insurance company for $787.  Have no idea why.  That is about the amount we took out of savings to pay for the shed.  Max says it's an answer to his prayers.  Hummm......maybe so.  I'm putting it in savings.  I need to contact the insurance company and see why they sent it.

In my rant yesterday I was giving up religion and I was very naughty.  I need re-think that.  Something else happened last night that made me question my negative thinking.  Because I70 is decked out with orange barrels and cones, I've been taking another route home, but last night a friend needed a ride and I took I70.  At about the time I would have been traveling the other route, a man driving a stolen truck was going the wrong way in the southbound lane where I would have been.  He hit 3 vehicles and seriously injured several people.  I could have been one of those people.

Jo  thank God you took the other route....so many time when we are stalled on a roadway or in traffic or we have a flat and it takes awhile to get under way....I use to get really upset and anxious now i just try to thank God that what ever bad thing was up ahead i wasnt thiere. 

that was a nice surprise the 787.00 dollars. i would be questioning it also ...just for sure i spent it they would say it was a mistake and i needed to return it lol

so glad that your son is getting the help he needs....and that his job is secure.
