Old member back for accountability
Hey all,
Not sure how many still here from 4 and a half years ago and would remember me.
I had surgery Feb 2006, lost about 100 lbs and slowly started gaining. I am back up 50 lbs and SCARED.
Today is day one on the 5 day pouch test. I believe the pouch is fine and that I'm simply not following the rules. But I never really followed them, I'm ashamed to admit. So no wonder I was never as successful as I should have been. I'm just now back on supplements and am hopeful I can get back on track. Thanks to Jan for the encouragement and advice!
I have set this forum as my homepage and plan to check in daily for accountability.

Welcome back. I would recommend you go to a support group on a regular basis. It helps me. We have one in Waynesville and this month we meet on the 10th @9am in the library. You are welcome to come. Its a new group and we are small but trying to get the word out. Springfield has a good group called Circle of Friends.
Welcome back Tracey!!! We all have our own problems with regain, etc. Coming here daily helps me. Never be ashamed to admit what you are having problems with. This is the place where you can admit anything and get support. Getting back on your suppliments is a great start. Have you been seeing your Dr for your checkups and blood draws? If not please get them done.
If we can help please ask.

Hi Tracy....so glad that you decided to come on board with us....Yes i agree with Barbara that you need to get your blood drawn for all of the blood test that are needed. when i get my yearly lab work done it is like 16 vials of blood. , enought to serve up a couple of nice drinks for vampires lol
anything that we can do to help you we will do....keep up the good work....

Welcome back!! I'll be 2 years out Thursday. Can't believe it's been 2 years. I still need to lose 20-25 lbs. and I'm working on it, but I'm very pleased with my results.
Too bad about the gain, but you can take it back off. Just have to re-commit. I've not done the pouch test, but hear it's a good way to start over.
Do get your blood work done so you know if you have any deficiencies.
Good luck!!
