WHATS HAPPENING MONDAY
Happy day after the 4th, now maybe my poor ole dog can quit shaking and being a nervous wreck...I usually have something on hand to give him to calm him down but forgot it this year....The vets assistant called me on Friday and wanted to know if Rebel was ok? and i told her yes why, she reminded me about the meds for him to calm him ...but i just couldnt get over there to get it. We still use the one we always have for him and She is in Berryville Ark. it is just below Shell Knob , where we use to live.
How was your week end. Mine was great and loved it even if i did have to go to work yesterday...We had a really good time with the babies this week end..they were so concerned about my bruises on my face. they wanted to know if it hurt and how i did that and why...told them i didnt know why ,
wow last night at work was like a mad house. ...was horrible. had a lady that has been off her coumadin for almost two months, the PT on her was 169 normal high iw 15...it was so high the INR couldnt be measured. PT is the measurment they do to check the thickness of your blood. began giving vit K , the doctor wouldnt send her out to the hospital because the slightest bump at that level will make her bruise and could bleed internally....i sure dont know if she will make it thru the night.
Susan i sure do miss you at work...was nice looking up and seeing you ...Andy did you lose a bunch of weigh while you were on ?
I have to work today and tomorrow and then off for 3 or 4 days i think. will have to look at the schedual when i get to work today...
going to get off here and get some more sleep i think, pretty tired from last night yet and it is awfully early still. talk to all of you later. love and hugs

I am hoping to have a slow day today. Saturday I went to a neighbors fish fry and yesterday we went to to the cardinals game in St Louis. It was hot and humid in the stadium but I had a good time. They won of course.
I have lots to do in prep for my surgery. I paid them this week so no backing out now. I will be so glad to get it over with. I hope I can get DH well by then so he can take up the slack around here. He is better but not 100% yet.

Jan, how did your GS like his party?
I'm feeling better today after the hellish day yesterday. I can't remember when I've been so distraught, probably when my husband passed away years ago.
Poor Max was worn out going to Atchison, then driving Greg's car back to Shawnee, KS. The hospital was able to take Greg into their alcohol program. He went into de-tox. Max had a long talk with him. He and Max get along really well. Greg's dad passed away about 15 years ago. Greg said learning his DL has been suspended pushed him over the edge. He slipped out of the facility twice and bought Vodka. That facility will take him back once he finishes de-tox. He won't be driving and they will keep a closer eye on him.
Greg was really surprised when I didn't show up and felt really bad that I had taken the news of his slipping so hard. The social worker at the de-tox center really gave it to him and told him unless he was serious about getting clean and staying clean she didn't want to fool with him.
Tomorrow I go back to work and that's probably good to get back in a routine. I need to go to Walmart and get some things. They sell almond milk for a dollar less than the grocery store.
We got a lot of rain last night. The fireworks don't bother my dogs but they sure do me. The kids across the street were shooting firecrackers for 2 hours in the afternoon. I finally went in the back bedroom, turned on the TV and took a nap.

Jan it looks like your face is healing pretty good, sure is black and blue still tho. Yeah I agree with ya about work being crazy, it's been really crazy in the kitchen too. Seems the last couple of days they have been short CNA's or something, I know over the weekend they had a couple call off's a day so that puts the kitchen behind in serving cuz they don't have the help in passing trays. On saturday I heard it was 1:30pm before they were done serving lunch, that's LATE! I'm sure some of it though was the cooks fault, our crazy boss is the day time cook this week while the regular cook is off on vacation. Hopefully next week I can get back on my regular schedule cuz she's hired someone to take Susan's place.
Yeah I've lost a few more pounds but I think I've lost more inches then anything in the last month, I'm now into a size 42 pant, I'd be in a 40 or even a 38 i think if it wasn't for all the loose stomach skin that is hanging, hopefully I can schedule a time in the next couple months to get all that removed.
I did have a wow moment over the weekend. Susan's brother and his family were hear visiting over the 4th so we all went out to Silver Dollar City and had a blast. The nephew is 15 and he talked me into getting on a rollercoaster, I didnt really think I'd fit but sure enough I barely fit lol, got strapped in on the first one and off we went, I thought I was gonna lose it lol but I made it. We came across another rollercoaster so sure enough I get on it lol, all in all I ended up riding all the rollercoasters out there plus the giant swing, that thing I believe goes 0 to 60mph in like 5 seconds, ai yi yi I was thinking what in the world had I got myself into lol, I had such a blast though and was so so happy that I could actually fit on the rides. A couple of them I barely fit cuz the strap was about as tight as it could go but I made it lol. That had been one of the goals I had set when I first started on this journey was to be able to get on a rollercoaster. Now I wanna go back already LOL.
Hope your night at work isnt as wild as it has been. Susan and I wanna come out and visit next time you and I have the same days off, hopefully soon. We also can't wait for the next support group, we are finally going to be able to attend.
Our company left today so I'm headed to bed early tonight, only got about 3 hours sleep last night and the night before, had to be at work at 4:30am, thats just wayyyyyyyyyy to early for me, ai yi yi lol. The next two nights I'm on evenings, thank the Lord, then off a couple days.

Susan quit about 10 days or so ago. She's having a lil surgery on one of her big toes and will be off for that for a bit of time plus the Lord is working in other area's of our lives so it was time for her to quit so we can do other things soon. Will explain more about that very soon.
