OK, Jan and Susan, no more injuries!!! I'm glad you'll be all healed up before I see you Jan. I'd hate to see you looking like Joe took a 2 x 4 to your face!!!
We haven't had rain today - just minor sprinkles. I can't believe we need rain, but we do.
I go back to KC in August and may have a little puppy ear taken off the right side of my TT scar. Guess that's kind of common. I would sure like to lose about 6 or 7 pounds. But, I'm happy - just never satisfied!!
We had fried green tomatoes Saturday night and they went down good and made pouchy happy. Wasn't sure but love them so much I gave it a try. Really the only thing I have trouble with is dense meat and I just have to remember to chew it well and take small bites. It does keep me full though.
Sorry for all the pain and worry kids cause. My heart goes out to all of you. We always think they are hard to deal with when they are little but that's a snap compared to when they are adults making their own decisions.
You are all always in my prayers.
Hugs,
Lana

Yes, Jan. I'm happy with the TT. It makes a whole world of difference. I am still wearing the Kymaro to help the scars, which I don't think are bad at all considering my age and history of tanning. And, I won't post pictures but will show everyone privately.
Hugs, see you on the 16th.

 Hey all,
thanks for the responses to my post yesterday! Today has been day 2 of the five day pouch test and I honestly believe my pouch is fine. It was bad choices and not following the rules. We'll see as tomorrow I progress past the liquid diet to soft protein.

I'm feeling more in control although headachy from lack of carbs. sheesh.

Praying for the kids struggling with addiction. I've been there and I know it must have been hell for my mom.

See you all tomorrow

Glad to hear your pouch test is going well.  Those dang carbs are just evil.

I'm an avid reader.  What kind of books do you write and what is your author name?

I have been rebuilding the wall around my flower bed. I am using the big blocks that stack They are not that big but pretty heavy after you have moved fifty or sixty. I had to get them level also. It wasn't done right when it was first put in. Blocks were just laid on the ground.  Its looking good but boy are my back muscles sore. I guess its a preview of my surgery. I go for my pre op this week.

Lana are you still glad you did it and did Dr Doss do a good job? I am getting nervous but also looking forward to it. Mixed emotions for sure.

We got a little rain today but not enough. The grass is crunchy and only the weeds are growing.
Hope you are are doing ok. Lou? Healing well? Are the packages rolling in?
Prayer are going up for the hurting hearts.

Susie,
I am ever so glad I had the TT. I thought Dr. Dass did great work. I am going to have a small revision on the right end of my horizontal incision but it is just more for me being picky than anything else. It will be in August and just done in the office. I am so glad it is basically behind me although Dr.Dass did say I should/could keep taping the incision until I see him in August so I am doing that. He believes it helps the scars by protecting them so why not? You are having much more ambitious surgery than I did so take it easy and I'll be anxious to hear about it from you when it's over.
Hugs,
Lana
