Need revision done

Hey All,
        Had my appt. yesterday with Dr. Hornbostel to see what my throat scope showed. The pouch and the intestents look ok but the opening between the pouch and th intestents is about 3X the size it should be.He has to go back in and make the opening smaller. It will be just like I'm starting all over. Have to do the 2 week liquids before and then follow the steps afterwards just like before. Go from liquids up to solid food. I was told that it was because of something I did,over stuffing. I'm very upset about that.Margie is suspose to be calling me with all my appt. times. To see the Dr. that will take care of me in the hosp,and pre-op stuff and then surgery date.Will let you all know when I know.
      I'm really scared to start all over again. Plus I was told that with all the unhooking and rehooking there is a 10% higher risk of leaks.Not sure if I should go thru with it. What do you all think?

I vote YES....and now you know that if you overstuff your pouch this time that you cant do that.and what it does. ...good luck girl ....let us know ...you will be a newbie all over again...yea!!!!  I wish i had the oppotunity to do that again...would exercise more and would get all the weight off this time.
you may wind up being really tiny lol ....wouldnt that be funny...just dont get scare and not eat anything ok...just follow the rules.    10% chance isnt that much to worry about and your know Dr. H. is the best there is....

Now you know what the problem is and what caused it so I say fix it.  But, make sure you are willing to follow the rules this time.  What's done is done so forget it and move forward.

I vote yes for a second chance. You have been given a chance at a new start. Now you know what to do. Go for it but take it easy.

I'm with the rest of the ladies, I would vote YES!  If Dr. Hornbostel thinks this is a good option for you then I would trust him.  This time you'll know what you did wrong and have the chance to do it right.  Just don't beat up on yourself too much.  We all make mistakes and maybe, just maybe, you can help someone else along the way that will be going thru what you're going thru now or maybe keep from it.

     Sorry you have to go through this.  Trust Dr. Hornbostel.  He will get you through this.  He is great at what he does.  As an old friend told me, "this too will pass. Hope things are cool up there.
