WHATS HAPPENING FRIDAY

good morning everyone....suppose to be another day today  lol that is good at least God hasnt decided to call it quits just yet. i dont think i could be anywhere near as patient as he is with us , you know? He surely does love us to be so patient for so long. 

I just got up , i sure am getting lazy here lately....but when i get up really early and work so hard outside im wiped out by 10pm and sleep like a log.....i got up this morning at 4am and thought i was wide awake but since i have to work tonight i thought i better get some more sleep...so i played games on the computer untill i got sleepy again and went back to bed. ....

I finally got my tomatoes re done...i had some more plants that i had growing outside in pots and didnt know what to do with them but the ones in the big pots burnt up , i think i had too much horse poop in there.... so i took all of them out and then dug way down in the pots and filled that with plain dirt then set the new plants in  and cover them with plain dirt....also it has been a hassel to water them so i took a soaker hose and ran it along the top of these 10 big tubs and will let that run most of the time at a really slow pace....should keep them watered well that way. and can turn it off and on as needed....yeah pretty smart i think lol 

i dont intend to do much of anything today before work , the working outside in this heat really wipes me out and working up there is so hot and uncomfortable that i can barely make it as it is. 
Im really thinking about handing in  my resignation soon. besides i will have to soon when we get ready to go to AZ for the winter. dont know when tho ...hopefully those people get their money soon so they can buy the rental and we get out insurance paid for another year then get taxes paid , lol well looks like i might be working for a little while longer anyway....want to get some put in savings too. wanted to get some things done to the house too but may have to wait on that until we get back and i might go back to work then...just rattleing this morning lol

will get this posted and let me know what your week end plans are ....I know Andy and Susan are in Tulsa, and Jo starts her vacation after today. And Bec is leading the big rigs.  Barbara is trying to convince Baby to not bite people, dont remember or dont know what else is going on. ....

 

I'm counting the time until 5:00.  Max is going to the Royals game so I'm doing my errands this evening.  Tomorrow I have my last tutoring workshop then my GD's dance recital in the evening....Ugh.  Sure glad there's only one recital a year.  It's downtown KC and have to pay $7 to park then sit and watch dancing for about 3 hours.  They give us tickets but it's a long evening.  Great dancing but get tired of it after awhile.

Sunday we're going to Atchison to see my son and take him out to eat.  He told my husband he never wants to see a bottle again (as in liquor).  Sure hope he keeps that thought.  He is so much calmer now.

So is Bec driving a truck or the lead car? 

Jo. so happy for you about your son. I can only hope and pray about my daughter she is 40 years old and has been drinking heavily since she was 16 ...i really dont think she will ever quit but only God knows when and where, i have turned it over to him so many times and then pick it back up and worry about it some more. i finally have come to terms with it and realize that it isnt anything that had to do with me that this is her problem and only God can handle it so i need to leave it alone...

Bec is driving a pick up truck that is the lead truck with the big sign that says wide load....for the great big trucks that are hauling those huge things ...lol

Had a short day so came home and took a 2 hour nap. Haven't slept like that in the daytime for a long long time, think I was sick last time.

Jan~I am the same way about the heat. I need to weed our garden, but even in the morning it's still uncomfortable for me. Had to but another 25' of garden hose so I can water the tomatoes. Guess I'll have to talk my youngest DS to come out and till between the rows then I can take care of what is by the plants.

Think I might take the week-end off. Have a lot of stuff to go through and give to a thrift store, am thinking Salvation Army, but the Goodwill also does good things for people in need. Guess I can decide that later.

Jo~I think it's better to do your errands at night right now because of the heat, when I am driving and get out of the car the heat almost knocks me over.

Jeanie your body has been thru some serious stress , the surgery and then DH passing away...you need to take care of you...You are number one in your life now ...
You havent gotten to the point of bceing cold all the time yet. I noticed you have lost almost 80 pounds wow girl...great going.

While you are going thru stuff to give to goodwill you probably have a lot of your own that you can go thru too...just think you are never going to be that size again.

been meaning to ask what would charge for those Plarn bags? everyone that sees mine want to know if you make them to sell....let me know might be a good side business for you...lol
