WHATS HAPPENING

Suppose to be a cool front today lol 88 i can take even if that is warm it isnt like 96 and 98.....I have already been ou****ering and pulling weeds for the last 2 hours. now my back is screaming  so i came in to do my post and rest for awile and get my protein coffee down...

i have got to start walking again i guess, i lost those pounds while on vacation and they are slowly comeing back....another thing i did while there was not have access to stuff to eat. even if it is good for you too much is too much. especially in between meals....what i ate the most of while there was watermelon. oh yummy was it good. i sure will be glad when mine get ripe...I have some about the size of softballs already ...need to water them today too.
have good size zuccinas on the vine too. this kind of hot weather is really good to grow them. i only planted 4 plants this year and all four of them are doing great.

seems early that the rose of sharons are all blooming . this summer is whizzing by....I told Joe that we are going to get ready for summer next year by cleaning all the junk away this fall before we leave. Dont know what we will do with our chickens yet. may leave them and let someone take care of them and then we may just give them to someone and get new ones when we come back ...but would hate to do that. Not reall sure about our dog either. He is getting older and i swear i think he is getting senile....he has never laid in my flower beds and this year i have had to put fencing around everything to keep him out of them....just the little low fences , enough to remind him but i never had to do that before....i have been reading this vets. web site and told him what was happening and he said that the worst would be a brain tumor and the least would be dehydration. well the dehydration isnt anything because we supply him with a constan****er supply of cool water. we have a faucet that drips all the time so we put his big water bowl under it and it is always cool water ...

i saw on the weather report last night that after today the week end will be really hot and then it cools back down to the 80s again. sure hope the hot is gone ...can barely stand that.

well got to go and get back out to the weeding , i have a couple of plants i am digging up and putting in pots so need to get to it. love you all and get out and enjoy the day today cause the week end is going to be horrible .

I think your dog has figured out that laying on the flowers are cool. Not a dumb or sick dog just smart enough to know where to cool down...LOL

Hope all the bad luck is over with now...I pray it is....I am just sick about Anissa's car...had it 5 days and totaled. Not a good way to remember your first car. She earned the money and paid for it on Friday and totaled it on a gravel road on Tuesday afternoon. She is fine and doesn't care to drive right now. She isn't even ready to look for another car right now. I felt the same way for about 6 monrhs after I rolled mine.

Hubby had to replace the hood on his truck and repair some front end damage around the radiator from hitting the deer on the way to work yesterday.

Are you leaving for the winter? Did I miss something?

Need to go ride my recumbent bike. I got it at a garage sale for $15.00 and I love it. I can exercise while I watch TV in A/C...can't get better than that. I sweat like crazy and I am up to 3 miles each time I ride. Go right in and take a shower and feel great. Best $15.00 I spent for a while.

Thursday would be better for me. I have prayer meeting with a group of women at 8am on Wednesday's.  Where do you all want to meet for lunch??  I'm fine with about anything.  We'll have to invite Peggy too!

oh i wish i coudl drive that far anymore and i would join you all....yeah i think you should make a seperate post about your get to gether of anyone in the KC area...i know there are several that have ask about a support group there....dont forget Suzy too....dont she work at the baratric surgeons office there  Dr. Price isnt it>?  and i know there has to be more.....

Barbara yes we will probably be going for the winter to AZ this year....we had planned for it lasty....
ear and the grandson came to live with us and go to school and didnt have a car till about March so we were tied down here last year and it was such a horrible winter. He finishes summer school the end of July and is going to enlist into the Marines as soon as he gets out. He hope he can be in training camp by Sept anyway. I sure hate to see him go into the service but not much oporatunity out here in finding a decent job.

anyway  i dont know if you missed something or not but yes we will be leaving probably right after Christmas....and first go to La. for a few days then on over to Houston to see my sister for a week and then to San Antonio to visit my daughter then on out to AZ to visit our other daughter.
am ready to not have to work myself to death

Jan, you should never gain a pound the way you work.  I wish snacks filled me up as quickly as a meal.  Snacking is what I have to watch carefully and ask myself if I'm really hungry or just want it because I know it's good. 

I saw the eye doctor yesterday.  The place where I usually go couldn't see me until next Wednesday.  I don't have an infection but extremely dry eyes.  He said my eyes were very healthy so that's good news.  He recommended eye drops several times a day and a vitamin he sells for dry eyes.  The vitamins are $32 for 30 day supply.  Thought I'd try them and see if they help.  I also use an eye ointment at night.  We have the ceiling fan on in the bedroom and I have a small floor fan on my side of the bed that was blowing in my face.  I moved it so it's not in my face, thought maybe that might be drying my eyes too.

Is Bec driving a truck or learning to drive one? 

One more workday and it's vacation!!

Jo yes you know i shouldnt gain weight but it is so easy to grab a handful of something and eat it each time i go anywhere near it. lol ...snacking is what everyone has to watch i think,,,it isnt the meals cause those fill us up , we are concentrating on the protein first and protein fills you up but useless  carbs never fill you up or they dont me...

glad you got help on your eye problem....the fans blowing in your face probably cause more dry eye pro blems than most people realize. 

no i think Bec is driving the truck in front of those big haulers that say wide load...you know ...

boy i know you are going to enjoy your vacation. ......when we get the money for sure on the sale of the rental house then i think im going to go on a permanate vacation. wont say never but will leave in good standing so i can go back if i want to....
