Thought i'd share happy news!!
Today I got up, went to pee, checked my weight....drumroll please.... 199 oh yeah oh baby, it's yo b-day...lol no not my birthday , just my joyous rap lol...I haven't been below 200 since I was in high school, even then it was upper 180's, hmmm everything looked so much better thenlol never was under 300 since I was 19, so it is A VERY BIG DEAL to me! I weighed at my highest 399 , so i will not beat myself up if I never reach "goal" , but this is my second best. love hugs and health, Susan
Congratulations, Susan on getting to oneunderland! I remember how I felt when I finally reached that mark! Hooray for you!!
I see you live in OP. I'm in Gardner. Maybe we could meet for lunch sometime? It'd be great to get together in person, especially since we live so close together. Barbara S. might want to join us too!
Anyone else live close to KC and would want to make a "date" to meet for lunch sometime this summer?
Once again, Congrats! You need to put an updated profile pic up so we can see the "new" you!

Yippee!!!!
Oh I'm so thrilled for you! And I for sure can feel your happiness as on May 28th I too dropped below the 200's. I for real danced right down the road! The next day I felt like I had been road hard and put up wet! ~tee hee But by golly I was simply . I had to laugh at myself there I was jigging right on down the road... thinking I was by myself, (live in the country) had my ipod in my ears just as happy as I could be that after all these months of fighting with the same few lbs and so so close to onelander....I turned around and the neighbor man was following me! When I realized he was there I turned three shades of red I'm sure... he was just smiling from ear to ear... I waved and he went on by and I kept right on dancing down the road. That was the best "workout" I'd had in many a day! But boy did I pay for it later!
I've went on ahead and dropped another 3 lbs making my lowest now 195!
Susan I'm just thrilled for you and know you must even feel more wonderful since you've had surgery on the tummy! I sure hope I'm able to get that done!
Congratulations dear lady! Can't think of a better reason to get out my mascot!

SUPER, FANTASTIC!! You should shout it from the rooftop. I don't know what I weighed in HS but it was too much. I was wearing 16s & 18s. I weighed 179 when I got my first full time job, lost probably 30 lbs. and got down to a size 14. It was up from there and when I joined WWs in 1973 I weighed 207. Eventually I got to 243.5 and that's what I weighed when I started my WLS journey. Surgery day I weighed 238. I still need to lose at least 20 lbs. but like to lose 30, but I'm not stressing over it.
Those of us in the Kansas City area need to get together.

Oh, Thank You, Thank You, all of you nice congratulaters. This morning it was 198, so maybe it really wasn't a "dream" after all. I would love to meet up for lunch , dinner whatever, right now my vehicle is in the shop and I am having to get rides to and from places with my hubby in his work vehicle , he doesn't get home from wor****il after 8 sometimes....so for me another time would be better, but you all who live up and close to around here should definetly do it. I have wanted to go to a support group for so long, it would be wonderful if we could get something going close by. Love hugs and health...thanks again for the support, Susan
