WHATS HAPPENING WEDNESDAY
my camera finally bit the dust i guess , yesterday i tried to take some pictures of some lillies that are in bloom and i couldnt get it to come on. so i put new batteries , nope , put some more new batteries just in case those were good ones and it sdtill didnt work...darn. cant afford a new cameral right now. that is for sure even tho i have been looking at some of the new ones. maybe go to Kmart and put one in Lay a way. ....i dont even have a back up one . oh well will live im sure.
Have to work today and tomorrow. might as well it has been too hot to get outside after 10 in the mornings. I am gertting hot again now....i was told that after your body adjusts to being thinner that your normal thermostat will happen again. Last summer i didnt sweat much at all. was able to work outside in the heat and it felt good to me. not this year. I surely do sweat and a lot and the heat is really really hot to me. so guess im getting somewhat back to normal...i did notice that this past winter i didnt get as much of that bone chilling cold either. i got cold easier than i use to but it wasnt as bad as before.
Joe was going to give Rebel a bath yesterday but he saw him get his towels and shampoo out of the shed and off he went and didnt come bac****il around supper time. We know where he goes but doesnt do us any good. He goes across the street and goes up under these peoples trailer lol sure no way im going to crawl under there after him, and Joe wouldnt fit ..
all of you that are needing prayers for yourself or for husbands or kids know that you are in my prayers. take care and will talk with you all later. love and hugs

andy had to go back up to work yesterday for about a hour and help put our delivery truck away so i cut the grass again while he was gone.it just has been growing soo fast.
jan rebel is just too funny when it comes to getting a bath.when i give mecko and zoe a bath chrissy run's and hides because she know's she is next.after i dry her off she will sit on her blanket and growl at me if i come near her.after about a hour she comes to me again.
jeanie rae glad to hear your hubby is getting better.we know how it is to be busy.take care of your self.just ramble on any time you want to.we all have done it before.
tammy good to see you on here again.sound's like you had a lot of fun with the family.
jo you have been doing a lot of sewing in your woman cave.how is work going for you.we know it keep's you busy.never a dull moment where jan andy and i work.
everyone have a great day.stay cool.we love you all.god bless.susan.
Dogs are so smart. My Sophie doesn't like a bath but she's very good in the tub. Sammy is okay with it but he doesn't care for the hair dryer. We have them groomed about every 6 weeks but in between I sometimes give them a bath.
Tammy was saying she drinks a lot a diet Mt. Dew. My son's girlfriend has Mt. Dew running thru her veins I think. She drinks several bottles a day and it's not diet then complains about her weight....duh. Since WLS I just don't like the taste of carbonated drinks. Every now and then I would buy one remembering how refreshing they used to be but they taste weird so I drink decaf iced tea and lots of water. I have a 24 oz. container I fill with ice water. My goal is drink it by 10:30 when I get a break. I fill it up and drink another one by 1:00 when I go to lunch then another by 4:00. In the evening I drink another one.
Jeanie, glad your hubby is doing better. You need to take of yourself too. Pasta doesn't sit well with my tummy so I rarely eat it. I use whole wheat wraps at home but I didn't eat anything like that for probably 6 months.
I'm curious as to why foods taste so different after WLS, but I don't know that there is an explanation. I've tried watermelon twice in the last couple weeks and it tastes awful. Max ate it and said it tasted very good. Same with canteloupe, strawberries, bananas and apples. I can eat the berries and a banana but they don't taste like I remember. Chuck roast doesn't taste very good either. Sure wish carbs tasted bad...LOL
Ladies, I'm just not liking the Thera shoes. I'm going to see if I can clean the soles and return them. I wore them last night and walked on the treadmill for 15 minutes, the track for half a mile and 15 minutes on the bike. My toes and the bottom of my feet goes numb. I got a half size bigger than I normally wear so they aren't too small.
I was able to cancel the Biggest Loser Club. If I could have looked at the program before I signed up I would have never done it. I didn't like their menus at all and putting in my own took way too much time. The Daily Plate has most foods in their system.
Hope all of you have a wonderful day! Keep cool!

hmmm i wonder why the thera shoes dont like your feet, my daughter too. i bought her a pair and she said they hurt her feet too. that is just so weird isnt it? i wouldnt be able to work without them on i know , i have tried and by the end of the night i am just crying about feet and knees hurting.
good that you could cancel the BL club most of the things that i have tried that are advertised to be so great , never are. so im really skeptical about stuff anymore.
hope you stay cool...and keep exercising even if you do it barefoot lol

Good morning OH,
Not much time, need to shower and leave for the Hosp. DH's Dr. comes in early in the A.M. so I don't get to talk to him, he did explain to him what they saw in his echo. His aortic valve is narrowing, and it could possible be a birth defect in the valve. Instead of having a three part valve that opens in a circular way, he has a two part valve, that has a slit. That was the regurgitation. It's not something that just happens, he had to be born with it. Right now they want to do an angio-gram to look at the valve and see why it is narrowing so much. They did tell him it's possible they would have to do open heart to repair the valve. Don't know if that's a risk DH wants to take. He has had some problems after they did the triple by-pass and he's just not sure he wants that again, and then he has a real fear of not leaving the hospital.
Trying to not let this all get to me, but on the way home last night I wanted a cigarette so bad I almost stopped and bought a pack. I almost felt like I had the food cravings under control, but when I'm driving that's all I can think of, stopping and getting something not in my food plan.
I have never really had to deal with the possibility of losing him and it'****ting me pretty hard right now. I just don't know how to not turn into a raving lunatic. I can't use my drug of choice anymore, and the urge to smoke is becoming to much to handle.
Sorry I ranted so much, need to post this and get ready. Thank-you for all the prayers, sure could use a few good hugs right now.
