Just like the devotional says, our Heavenly Father today is always there to give us the help we need, no matter what help or how much help He is always there to see us through any situation that we might face, whether is our diets or facing surgery or just every day ordinary situations we can always count on God to be there for us and to see us through, IF we let Him.  Sometimes I really think we unconsciously stop God from helping us, in those times He still wants to help us and see us through but we don’t let Him.  I’ve been there for sure and didn’t realize what I was doing until I finally wised up, again thank the Lord He is forgiving and understanding, He loves us more then anything and He always will.

Daily Devotional

Romans 12:3
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

There were three young men who found they were in need of help from their fathers. The first young man went to his father, but his father told him he didn't deserve any help. The second young man went to his father, but he was told he could have only so much help, then no more. The last young man went to his father, and he was given all the help he needed, and then some. The father let his son know that no matter how much he needed, he could always come to him. Our Father in heaven is like the third father. We need much help in getting through our everyday situations, and we can know through faith that God will always be there to provide us with what we need.

Today's thought: The more I give up, the more God gives!

I Corinthians 15:57 - But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
