WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY

Beverly, we are one day apart with our WLS.  I think we've talked before.  I still don't eat much at mealtime.  Two oz. of protein is about all I can do.  I had a problem with grazing but I stopped that.  Those darn carbs are a problem for me.  I've increased my water a lot the last 2 weeks.

Before WLS, I didn't care for Crystal Lite at all.  After surgery for over a year I drank CL peach tea twice a day.  Now, I'm back to not liking it.  Can't stand carbonated drinks and they used to be so refreshing.  So, my favorite drinks are water and decaf iced tea.  Sure would like to know why our tastes change so much after surgery.  One day I like a food and the next day I can't choke it down.

Beverly i get the ABC Plus SENIOR vits at Puritans pride and no they dont have iron in them because if they have calcium in them the calcium and iron cancel each other out. this way i can take my extra calcium with the multi and then ter ake My iron late at night with a Vit C which helps it work better and helps not cause quite so much constipation. ....I also take B complex too at nmuoon.
gaining 6 pounds isnt much to gain back you are doing really good.
Swimming is a great exercise......also the sugar free popsicles can surely be counted as water but one popsicle wont equal an 8 oz glass of water.  
I keep wanting to get a good pool but i tried the blow up ring type and i didnt like it ....couldnt ever get it level and we leveled the area with a huge big level and it was as perfect as we could get it. and when we blew up the pool it was lopsided lol wouldnt hold much water , kept running out.

I'm going to check out Puritans Pride.  I looked at Walmart but didn't find any that I thought were good for me and they were expensive.  The BA vits are $39.95 for 90 days.  I always get my calcium in.  The crystals are tasteless and the chews are so good.  I take my iron at bedtime.

Jan, I'm a cow next to you.  I'm 5'2 1/2" and wear 12/14, mostly 14s.  I'm far from small but so much better off than before WLS.
