WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY

shoot i have to go to work today, and tomorrow lol but then i get the whole 3 day holiday off. Of course Sugars daughter Rachele is getting married on Saturday..She is a beautiful girl i just hope she has picked a good one this time. Keep her and her new hubby in your prayers that they will and can really make this work. The boys love him so that is a good thing...The wedding is going to be in Doling park in Springfield at the cave entrance at 12:30 very informal and simple....if you happen to be driving around in that area stop by and see me ok?

Yesterday I planted two more flats of impatients they sure dont look like much in the landscape when you first plant them...I am trying to brighten up the shade garden some....I hope they grow and bloom pretty. then i planted a flat of snapdragons. they look like they are limpdragons this morning , guess that heat got to them yesterday. dont know if they are going to make it or not. have the sprinkler on them really fine mist. hope that helps. I bought some big different looking coleus was going to put them in the shade garden and they are for the sun didnt know they made them for the sun wow. oh well will find some more. will stop at the garden shop at country mart today, they were marking their plants down yesterday....
oh yeah i bought some watermelon plants and some sweet pepper plants and a couple of eggplants. cant freeze the eggplants so will just be what i can eat as they ripen. I forgot to get any 7dust so hope what ever ate my other water melon plants off havent gotten hold of these already. will stop and get some of that on the way to work too. need to buy some granduals to put on the yard too ...the ticks are really bad this year it seems....i never have a problem with them and i have been getting at least one a day.they are just the little bitty ones but they can sure attach themselves....i have found that if you put a dab of TeaTree Oil on them they will back right out and the bite itself never itches at all nor does it get red. got to order some more of that too.
I have got to sit down and order my vits. i am about out and sure dont want to have to buy them at walmart they cost a lot more there than online ...
well i had  better get myself going I still have some more plants to plant. some more moss rose .

talk to you all later. what are you all planning for the week end.   Oh yeah we picked George up in Branson yesterday. He had the bus  to let him out in Branson so we wouldnt have to drive all the way into Springfield.

Hi OH,

First off Thank-you for all the Birthday wishes yesterday.

DH has Dr. app at 3:00 so we are just kind of hanging around till time to leave. Sure hope they figure out what is going on with him.

This week-end is the family camp-out. We rented a room last year so we could be at the lake, but spent so much time driving back a forth I think this year we are going to go up during the day and come home at night. The younger ones spend most of their time swimming and chasing kids so I plan on taking our fishing gear and walking down to the lake to fish. We go to Pomme de Terre, heard this morning they finally opened all the beaches back up, so at least the kids will be happy.

Maybe next year I'll put on a suit and go in the water.

I downloaded a new avatar, after I loose another 100 pounds I will take a good picture and put me back on my profile.

Need to get some laundry done, Hope you all have a good day. Talk to you Later.

HUGS!!!!!

Jeanie sounds like you all have a fun week end planned. I dont guess we will do anything special...we may cook out or something. but will spend most of the time working in the yard and garden....always have so much stuff to do....I almost have beets large enough to can....i pickle them yummmmy....does anyone want all the beets tops for greens...I dont like them but a lot of people do. they cook them like spinich or mustard....maybe together i dont know.
also have carrots just about big enough to pick too and can them...or freeze them not sure what. i bought a canner last year so will try that i think....

oh advice take picture and print them out about every month or so ....i did mine every month for the first year. it really helps you to see the difference. and get your mind wrapped around the idea that you arent big anymore. that is so hard for most of us to realize.

I'm so looking forward to a 3 day weekend.  I have some cabinets that need straightening, but I hope to work in my "woman cave" a lot and do a lot of reading.  I have 19 books checked out.

I use calcium crystals and really like them from BA.  Also take the raspberry chews.  I had to find something other than pill form calcium.  What vitamins do you take?  I get bariatric vitamins from BA.  Don't like the chewables at all so next time guess I'll go back to pill form.

I joined the Biggest Loser Club and will get 3 of their books including a cookbook....as if I need another cookbook.  They give you a meal plan or you can set up your own.  I used theirs as a guide.  My membership is for 3 months and I will probably cancel then.  Hope I've lost the 20 lbs. I need to get off.

Jo i buy all my vits from Puritans Pride they are good vits. and cost half as much as others. You dont have to have special Baritric vits. just good vits. My levels are always great.
the main thing to remember on Calicum is that you need Citrate not carbonate and that you need 1200 mg per day but only 600 at a time at least 2 hours apart.
cant take iron and calicum at the same time. they have to be 2 hours apart. confused yet? lol

i am like you i really need to lose about 20 pounds. when you are as short as i am that extra 20 looks bad....altho i wear size 10s at 5ft 3 inches i should be wearing at least an 6/8....oh well i never thought i would ever get into a 10 even so if i never get lower im satisfied....

Jan which one of their vitamins do you use there are so many. I want the one that has the iron in it.
Glad to see everyone is doing pretty good. I too need to lose some more weight. I  lost 132 lbs and have put about 6 lbs back on.(will be 2 yrs out in July)  I can't believe you can gain weight back when you can eat so little. I watch my carbs and sugars faithfully. I eat a ton of sugar free popsicles do you think that could be putting weight back on. I just can't seem to drink alot so I thought the sf pops are fluid. May be my warped way of thinking :).

Jeanie don't wait until next year to get in the pool. I started last year and went almost everyday. Had a ball with my grandkids. I couldn't stand the thought of putting on a swimsuit, to much flab....so I went to walmart and bought me some lycra shorts and top and used that. At first I felt funny but when I got to the pool all the older folks had on something similar. Made me feel right at home. I bought me a pool for this year so I can get in it when ever I want to.

Well gotta go, have a good day to all...
