what's happening for (missing her ) JAN

OKAY I am no good at blogging so I am basically just starting the thread for you all to respond and make it look interesting....I am taking a break today from my grandbabies,family drama etc etc, I may of mentioned , don't remember most day's lately, which end is up lol, anyhow, I popped some of my t.t stitches picking up my 7 mo's old grandson off the floor at chucke cheese , he was falling over ready to hit his head,on a chair, so without thinking I lunged to catch him, yes I made it in time but WOW did that hurt, went to the dr. last week he told me to keep my binder tight and "take it easy", seems like that is so hard! my house constantly looks like a tornado hit it, I can't keep it up, it's driving me crazy, before I lost weight, my kids did most of the cleaning, i feel so ashamed about that sometimes, at 400 lb.s it's hard to keep yourself up, much less the house, now I like it clean and I do most myself, with little "help".(plus the "kids" aren't "kids" anymore lol) not that they don't make a mess with their "kids" . Today is cloudy over here so far, but already the muggies are in. if it's gonna feel to hot, dang it, I want some sun to go along with it!!��Looks like there'e a "chance" of rain all week....sigh... feel like i'm back in Oregon, (without my beloved ocean, mt's and turtle- snake free, river to swim in lol). Since my T.T on april 28, i've lost about 12 lb.s almost what he took off, so the excess fluids must be going out, this morning I weighed 202, just 3 lb.s til ONDERLAND...I think I may make it. It looks so strange to look down and see my feet and not my belly hanging out in front...went to "savers" and got several tops, it was awesome to not have to worry about the length to cver my panni!!!� now if I could just find long enough short sleeved summer tops to cover these bat wings....and long enough bermuda shorts for my inside saddle bags ...sigh, sigh some more...okay this is turning into one long pity fest...LOL...time to wrap it up, hope you all don't mind my rambling start to whats happening...love hugs and health, susan A. ..SUSYALBA

Good morning to all.the sun is out soo pretty this morning just wi**** would stay this way and not give all the rain they are calling for again.

i think summer has moved in already.the humidty sure was high yesterday and supposed to be today again.

susyalba you just talk on here all you want to.that is what we are here for.we all ramble on time to time.i know what you mean by wanting to find long enough top's to cover your arm's.i sure do not wear sleeves top's at all any more.i wear longer short's too even with my swim suit's.my skin on my leg's look's like a wrinkled dog's face.lol.i dont know how to spell the name of the kind of dog i am thinking of.

jeanie rae glad to hear you are doing good.before you know it a month will be going by since you had your surgery.time sure does fly by when we are having fun.lol.

jo thoses 3 day wekends are sure nice.but our day's off of work sure do go by fast.bet you are ready to do some work in your woman cave.

jan how are you today?sure was busy again at work last night.see ya sometime this week when you work again.i am off tuesday and wednesday this week.

Susan, I got a chuckle from you comparing youself to a wrinkled dog.  I think you're referring to a Sharpei.  I think they are so cute but hear they smell bad because of all the wrinkles.

I don't have hanging skin but I have tummy flab and there are the bat wings. I wear sleeveless at home but never out in public. 

Susy, I just noticed you live in OP so you're not far from me in Raytown.  Maybe we can get together one of these days. You've done great with your weight loss.  I like everything neat and tidy too.  My SD is not into housekeeping at all.  Drives me crazy.  Her kitchen is always messy and the bedrooms.....ugh.  My kids never liked keeping their rooms clean but I made them do it.  Now, they like things neat and orderly.

I started taking the senna, 2 tablets, twice a day yesterday.  With the Miralax in my drinks and the senna, surely that will solve the problem.  No use having the hernias repaired if I keep having this problem.  I have a big bulge just above my waistline from the hernia or hernias.

I broke down and turned the AC on yesterday.  I'm not complaining about hot and humid but it was pretty uncomfortable in the house.  It's set at 78 so doesn't come on a lot. 

Jan, we're praying for you and we miss you.

That would be great.  We can form our own support group.  I sure wasn't pleased with my surgeon's group.  It seems to be aimed at pre-ops.  This month was his exercise guru telling us how to walk.   Duh.....I've been walking a long time so I don't need instructions.  Next month is about co-morbidities and how they affect us.  Been there.....done that.

Hey , not sure where Raytown is, but having a get together-support group would be wonderful for me, I have never been to one, we moved to overland park from blue mound,ks (down between ft scott, and paola,ks) and there was nothing there, the kansas ob help, is basically non existant, people there just don't have the closeness or dedication to the board on there that you missouri folks do! I just consider myself an honorary missourian lol

Susan~I'm doing great and today was 3 weeks, so next week will be a month out, what I can't wait for is my first surgiversary.

Jo~We have turned our AC on too. The humidity gets me more than the heat.
