Has the rain washed you all away? im telling you what we have had so much that my little chickens have developed web feet lol they look so forlorn out there walking around in the mud , a couple of them just stick their heads out of the coop and go back in . Dont know i guess they are the smart ones at least that is where the feed is at, cant keep it outside right now cause it gets all wet..

my iris are all but done booming but all my lilies have huge big buds on them and you can even see the color showing i guess they are just waiting for a day of sunshine and they will all open up...cant wait to see them again. they are as colorful as the iris but brighter colors ...oh i had a new iris to open yesterday it is a copper color beautiful color.

Sure wish we could have made it to the meeting last night but were so afaid to drive that spare that far and possiblility of more storms and rain. i dont think it would have handled that well in it. We just called the tire place and they said the tires wont be in till Monday morning. So guess Joe will take me to work and then go over and wait for awhile till they come in. they sure are expensive things...the cheapest ones we could find were 149.00 a piece. that is totally riduculious....of course they are big tires but still.

was going to work in the yard today cleaning up stuff and still will in between rains i guess...need to get the iris stuff cleaned up....and all of this rain makes the ground soft and easy to pull weeds ....so have plenty to do if it will stop raining for long enough lol

Sugar just called me she is at a big plant sale in Clever and wanted to know if there was anything i needed lol i told her one of everything . she said i was crazy .....now is that anyway for a sister to talk to you.  well for someone to ask a plant nut if there was anything they needed was a crazy question. right???

Jo sorry i didnt respond to you yesterday but was so busy and then disappointed that i didnt get to the meeting last night that i jsut didnt get back on the computer....
Susan i bet you will look cute in your new glasses , i know those that you had were way to big for your tiny little face now. you are going to be a cutie and Andy had better watch out. lol

I didn't make it to the meeting last night but wish I had. I will try again next month. I did make the meeting this morning. Our numbers were down but we had a good meeting. We are blessed to have a dietitian join us from the base to answer our questions.

Things are not going great up here in my neck of the woods. With all the rain ,the lightning strike, tempers are flaring.  Keep me in your prayers that I don't strangle anyone. My upcoming vacation is well needed. Hopefully it will calm things down. I wi**** were today but it will be here soon enough I guess. I just want things to calm down. Maybe when school is out next week.

My grass is growing so fast, I could almost cut it everyday. DH would love that but its not likely to happen. I stay so busy and never seem to get anything done. I suppose its better than not having anything to do. One day I will get caught up, maybe.

Good morning all! I had a message from Lana , sounds like she is doing well, maybe even better than me, guess I am A wuss tho, having 3 little grandbabies who constantly want "up up" is so hard not to , that might be part of the problem....I usually sit down and let them climb on my lap. a sirt of compromise to the no lifting over 10 lb.s rule.  Man I am sick of the rain, I am from Oregon so you would think I would feel right at home...NOT. OH MY GOSH!!! I just completly forgot what I was going to write!! we were having strawberries with our breakfast and guess what CRAWLED out of them onto the counter?!     A BABY SNAKE!!! YIKES    I can't believe the poor little thing survived in the refridgerater for 3 day's, I thought I was getting a good deal 2 lb.s for 4.98     I guess i'm lucky they didn't charge extra for the "pet" lol, well my son  put it in a glass aquarium trying to figure out what to feed "him"...welll we know he likes strawberries lol.

Susy i dont think you are a wuss , everyone handles pain differetly you know that working for a doctor. ...so dont be so hard on yourself.

lol about the snake , im not afraid of them but im sure it would have give even me a start to have one in such a place....lol bet you look things over a little bit now.  i would be sure and tell them where ever you got the strawberries. hope it wasnt any thing from another country....some of those are dangerous ones lol dont want a new kind started here lol

Good Afternoon OH,

Well first of all just wanted to let those that missed the meeting know we missed them, we mainly shared experience with a couple of gals from Branson, and Wild Willy (he came in a couple of meetings ago and was just starting the paperwork). Turned out to be a good meeting.

Jan~Totally get the not wanting to trust a spare tire, been there and not fun changing them in the rain. Was a little worried at first, so glad it was just wanting to stay safe. It was awesome to share as a post-op.

Pretty much came to the conclusion that I can't eat eggs. Have tried just plain scrambled twice now and both times got a little pukey. Am going to stay away from them til I am eating more normal foods and try again.

Susie~I'm with you, sure hope all the T-Storms start going away for a few days at a time, kind of like normal, if there is a normal for Missouri. I get cranky too, don't like driving in them and if I have to stay home I want the option of going outside. We have enough grass now if we could afford to buy a couple of calves they would eat well for awhile. Maybe will have to borrow some from one of the farmers by us.

Susan~Sure hope Andy's work schedule does go back was lookint forward to meeting you two. May have to find out where you live and come down to see you and then visit Jan.LOL. That is if I get a day where I'm not running crazy delivering.

SusyA~My Grandbabies came to see me after I was home from surgery and yes it's hard to tell them you can't pick them up. I was still sore and couldn't even let them up on my lap, but they sure gave me hugs when their daddy picked them up to leave. BIG HUGS.

Oh my, what a thing to find, would have had a heart attack, Thank God it wasn't anything dangerous.

Sounds like Lana is doing great hope all the healing goes well for both of you.

Well need to post and get some other things done I am down another 8 lbs since surgery so 16 total am feeling so good went to DG and picked up a pair of sports pants and a couple of tops in 2x instead of 3x.

Hope everyone has a good week end, will talk to you later.

Jeanie you are doing so great....16 pounds in 2 weeks have you ever done that before when you were dieting? lol I sort of doubt it and if by chance you did i bet you gained it back....
where is this you go to get clothes at DG where is that.
wish i had met the two girls from Branson...I have thought that we should be able to have a group in Branson just dont know who any of them are.
glad you missed us we missed all of you too. hope i get to come next month ....I wll be in Clever and Springfield on the 29th at Doling Park at Sugars daughters wedding. so maybe we can meet up that day sometime.
Wish i had saved some of my clothes for you to grow down too but as you will find out you will want to get rid of the bigger things as fast as you can lol ....

Jeanie, I still can't eat eggs.  I wasn't a big egg eater before surgery but I did like omelets.  Right after surgery, eggs and chicken tasted a like and I couldn't eat either one.  I do eat chicken now and like it.  Sometimes an eggs tastes okay but most of the time, I just can't swallow it.
