What Is Happening Monday for Jan
Good monday morning to all.hope everyone had a good weekend.monday morning does come too quick.it has been raining here since last night and is still coming down,we have had a lot of thunder and lighting too.kind of a cool rain.we sure do need some sunshine to warm it up.
jan they sure were keeping you busy at work last night.you are soo right you cannot keep the resident's in the dining room to eat and then when you want them to go back to their room's you cannot keep them out of there.see you sometime today.
jeanie rae you will start to get more strength back little by little.it take's time.you will have thoses drain's out soon.
bec what did you get the rest of the day from your daughter.they are soo sweet to do that for you.better tell your chicken to be good before she get's into trouble again.lol.
jo you are a good mother that is why you worry about your kid's.i get down sometime's around mother's day thinking about my mom.it will be 14 year's this memorial day since we lost her.she was only 63.your mom sure was young too.

Good morning, I am freezing again this morning. I thought it was warming up. I guess I shouldn't complain because it could be 100 and humid. We were able to get the garden in yesterday before we got any rain but didn't get all the grass cut . I do not think we ever get all the grass done at once. We finish at one end and have to start over at the other. I think next year we may try to see if we can get our money back out of this house. Prices have dropped so I am not too sure if we can even break even. Not sure where we will go, but that will only happen if we can sell at a decent price. Maybe next year prices will improve.
I am being extra careful on how much I eat. I am scared to death I am going to start gaining. I never paid much attention what I ate till now. I was not eating junk or large amounts but I just didn't worry about it. I do now. No way am I gonna lose control again. I haven't lost in a while and the three pound gain isn't wanting to leave. I know three pounds isn't a big deal but it can lead to three more.

Susie, I am really watching what I'm eating and especially the carbs. I have a fear of gaining back the weight and I just can't let that happen. I still wonder how I ever let my weight get to 90 lbs. over what I should weigh. Catching it when it's only 3 lbs. is a good idea. My meals are still small but it's the grazing that was hurtin me and those dang carbs.
Last night on 60 Minutes there were talking to people that walked away from their homes because they had dropped so much in value. Some of them were only worth half what they paid for them. I think they were in AZ. These people could afford to make their payments but didn't want to pay for a house that had dropped so much in value.

It's cold and the furnace is running. Looks like November. We got a little rain but it's supposed to rain all week.
Max's BP keeps going way up then back down so he is seeing his doctor this afternoon. He is so afraid of having another stroke and I can understand that.
My mom was only 48 when she passed away. It's been 42 years but I still miss her. Every once in awhile I dream about her. The dreams are always pleasant. One thing I remember is how her hands smelled, so clean, when she would button my coat. Strange thing to remember I guess. She died of colon cancer.
This evening I'm going to get a new cell phone, probably the Palm Pre. My phone won't work unless it's on speakerphone. We're going to drop our land line and just use cell phones. That will save us some money. I get a discount thru my employer for my cell phone. I called Verizon and first he told me I would have to pay up to $90 for another phone and a refurbished one since I'm not due till July for a new phone. I asked how much to cancel my contract and he said $90 so I said I would just cancel. He changed his tune real quick and said because I've been such a good customer for 4 years he might be able to get me a new phone now.
