Susy,
My surgery is 5/12 and I am so anxious to get it done. I just loved Dr. Ponnuru and I think he is just the kindest, nicest person. I hope he tightens me up really TIGHT!!! I know they are going to do the muscles in my abdomen and I hope they do the "groin" too. I'm going to ask him about that, in fact I just spoke to Jane, Dr. Chandler/Ponnuru's nurse and she said she'd talk to them about it. Hope it works out for me too.
Hugs,
Lana

I'm sure he'll tighten you up as much as safely possible, that's what he told me. If you get a chance maybe you could ask what they charge for the upper arm lift..i forgot to ask, and I will have to pay cash :(   oh well... I feel like I really want to do something nice for him (Ponnuru) but i'm not sure what, hugs susan

Suzy,

I am sure you have posted this elsewhere, but was curious who your insurance provider was??

Glad to hear everything has gone so well for you. Hope the pain subsides soon for you!!

I currently have medicare only, so anything considered "cosmetic" is out of the question. I just feel so lucky he did so much extra knowing that medicare will only cover the panniculectomy....still feel likes it's a dream ....except the pain quickly reminds me lol
