WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY
Well we didnt get any of the really bad stuff down here last night. but sure am glad that i wasnt at work....a friend of mine that works there said it was a total fiasco ....right about supper time there was the tornado sirens went off and they had to take them all out of the dining room and put them in the hall ways with all the wanders and roamers and the ones that are always yelling and wanting this and that....and try to corral them into staying in that one area. so supper was delayed untill 7 when the all clean went off ...I can just imagine what it was like and so happy and glad that i wasnt there. I do have to go to work tonight and hope the weather doesnt do that again.
For any of you that might be interested and if you have Facebook i have posted several of my iris pictures on there , there are many more varieties to bloom but will post them as they do . ok? along with some of my other flowers as they bloom too.
Yesterday we weeded this huge big flower bed up front. was so glad to get that done...it has been bugging me that it was right up front and had so many weeds in it. didnt seem to be affecting the iris much tho. and they are going to have to be thinned this year. they are growing out of the bed. i guess i can just make it bigger lol
still havent gotten an appointment to get my hair cut . since i now have my May schedule i can get that done. ...according to the schedule im not going to work much but that doesnt mean a lot...i will probably get called in for people ....which is good that way i can decide when i want to work not them lol. better that way. when they call i can let it go to message and listen to what they want and then call them back...if they want me to work somewhere i dont want to i can tell them i will come in if they will let me work a certain area , usually they will rearrange things for me ...good way to work.
well got to get busy...need to go do a walk around and see if anything else is coming up or blooming after all that rain....i noticed yesterday that all my hibiscus are coming up all over. i have lots of them and i raised some white ones in the green house last winter so i planted them out with the pink ones the other day...that should be really pretty too. ...also the weigelia are blooming ...will get a picture of that to put on line too. they are really pretty. I have two bushes of them....one was suppose to be red as the other one is pink but the new one turned out to be pink too. oh well they are pretty no matter what color.

hello to all.did anyone else get a lot of rain and wind.we are soo glad we did not get any damage done here.we just got back from springfield a little while ago.finally got to pick out some new glass frames.they will be in one week to 10 day's.i will have andy take a new picture of me when i get them in.
jan it sure was a mess last night but we made it through ok.mike and i were getting ready to serve dinner and looked out in the dining room and no one was in there and found out where they all were.we had serve dinner a little ove a half hour late and by then you know some of thoses people want to lay down by then.
andy came back in to help us finish up in the kitchen soo we would not be there late.have a good evening at work.dont know when i will see you again.
jeanie rae sound's like you are doing great.your turn is almost here.we did make room for you on the loser's bench.just getting off your med's will make you feel soo much better.your doing good now but even better after monday.
well i better go for now.have to finish up some laundry.andy had to cut the grass again.it just grow's too fast.have agreat weekend.we love you all.god bless.susan.
Well Saturday and the food is calling out to me louder than before. I have made it this far and will ignore it, come to far to give in. Had my granddaughter today, she's such an angel, I enjoy talking to her about her everyday things, like her best friends at school and such.
Finally did a little bit of housework, when it's just DH and me, there isn't too much more than dishes and sweeping kitchen, then cleaning bathrooms. Not really a big house keeper, but actually got something accomplished today.
Jan~thank-you for the compliment on my picture, will take me a few weeks of working with it to get it trained to do what I want, when I let it get that long it is totally wild, even with a perm it wants to lay down after I blow dry it. I really like short better. They cut my hair in a band so I can give it for "Locks of Love".
Susan~I am so glad I only have one day and two nights left. Have to pack my bag tomorrow, was going to do it today, never did get around to it.
Well gonna post this and do dishes and maybe retire early again tonight. Have a good night will talk to you all tomorrow.
