WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY
Good Morning everyone.....sure is foggy out this morning. can barely see the chicken coop from the back door. Sure wouldnt want to be driving in it...Last night when we were on the way home it was pouring rain, and i mean pouring.
Well today i plan on putting my tomatoe plants in the big tubs i have prepared for them ...they need to get in their permenant place and start really growing. they have outgrown their little pots I have grown them in. Hopefully they will do well and i want to get my peppers in the ground today too. so have a busy day planned . Will get more plants probably tomorrow. Also have one more big area to de-weed.
So this is the last week that is noted for having a frost so hopefully winter is totally behind us. lol
but until that last frost date goes by i never feel comfortable with all my stuff that is outside.
Will be putting my begonias in the shade areas today also...need some coleus to plant all around in there too.
We have a lot of these bushy trees that get blooms on them that look just like honeysuckle flowers. they dont have a lot of smell to them but the bees love them so they must have lots of pollen, anyway that hard rain made a lot of the blooms fall to the ground especially in the shade garden and it looks like it has a yellow and white carpet down in all the pathways , sort of neat looking.

Jeanie Tomorrow morning is the big date. It is so exciting and i know probably feels a little sur real huh? you are getting ready to start out on a great journey. I remember how excited i was and a little fearful but not as much as a lot of people are i guess. I just told myself that either way it was a win win situation for me, because i was more or less housebound...i couldnt walk more than about 20 feet and i had to sit down and rest , my back and legs hurt all the time. I got up in the morning and walked to the bathroom took a shower and sat on a shower chair to do that, got dressed and went to my big chair in the living room and sat , until it was time to cook something and then i cooked and sat , get up and see about it and sat down some more. anyway...i said that if God wanted to take me home during surgery , then that was ok i would have a new body then and if i went thru the surgery just fine then i would have a new body here on earth so i thought of it as a win win situation. ..
If you want to get out today come on down and see our gardens. would love to have you....we will be here all day long. If you dont will be waiting for the call tomorrow morning from your hubby that you are ok and came thru surgery just fine. You are in good hands and God will be watching over you.
Any one else wanting to do something on Sunday afternoon come on down it is a beautiful drive down here this time of year. so come on down and see us. would love to have you.
Susan: dont know when i will see you again but will soon. I bet you look cute in your new glasses. Your old ones didnt fit your tiny little face anymore....when you looked at you all you saw were glasses. lol...cant wait to see them.
I noticed that Andy on Thursday when i saw him didnt look nearly as tired as he was looking , guess he is getting use to working again....i know when he gets that excess skin taken off he will feel 100% better too.
Well all i got to go and if any of you might want to come down give me a call and if you dont have my phone number private message me or email me and i will give it to you.....love you all.

I made Chili for supper. I had a recipe for Wendy's Chili from Pam that posts on the RNY board. Since WLS I eat Chili all year. It was really good but made a huge amount. I used lean ground beef, a lb. of ground turkey, white pinto beans, black beans and kidney beans. It's a little more soupy than I like so next time I will add less water if any. I also made custard that is pretty good.
Today and for the next few days I'm doing liquid protein. I have to get my excess weight moving. The last few days I did some bad eating, too much sugar and white flour. I get so jittery and feel lousy when I eat that stuff so why do I do it. We have a lot of food brought in for breakfasts and lunches at work. Going forward my rule is I don't eat it other than fresh fruit. I'm writing everything down and I WILL get the weight off.
I do have a problem today with my evening meal. My GD's birthday was April 2nd but they never had a family dinner. I had them over for her BD and gave her her gift. They want us all to meet at a Mexican restaurant I don't like at all. I'm mulling over what to do. I usually get a chicken quisadella (sp?). I'm thinking of have a protein shake just before we go so I won't be hungry. Sometimes their chips are good and sometimes not but they are a bad choice. I could order a glass of iced tea and sip on that while they eat. I sure can't eat and drink at the same time. After dinner we will go to their house for cake and ice cream and I have no problem passing that up. I could take a protein bar to have while they are eating.
My flower garden is looking great. Max is really enjoying all the planting and I love picking out the plants.....a team effort.
Jeanie, your big day is tomorrow.....right? I was very nervous but never thought of not going thru with it. I'll be praying for you and your recovery. l like your new picture.
I ordered some things from Blair. They have some really cute skirts for $10 so I ordered 2 and a lounge dress. The lounge dress is a large and it is too big. I'm not returning it but next time I'll order a medium. I found a pair of tan slacks at Walmart for $9......sige 12-14. Wow!!

I use to order things from Blair and was never disapointed in their products.

I kept busy today and really accomplished some of the things I have planned to do but just kept putting off. So I think I am off on a positive foot.
Need to close. DH will call Jan after surgery, Love you all and so glad I have such wonderful friends.
