Please wish me luck and a prayer or two, I'm getting a little nervous now. panniculectomy at ku medical center , I have to be there at 10 am.....scared but so excited too, but have been thinking alot about Angie. I think mine may be a little more complicated (like hers was) because of the size, I expect it'll  be more than 20 lb.s removed, which will put me well under 200 lb.s , first time since I was 16 , Oh wonderful Onderland!!    I will post when I get home or have my son post after to let you all know how it went, doc say's it'll be at least a one to two day stay....we shall see. Thanks in advance for the support, Susan

Thoughts and prayers are with you. I am sure you will do fine. Who is your resident? I look forward to hearing all the  details.

Thanks all!! I appreciate the moral support. Jeane great luck and success on monday, I know it will be the beginning of a new life for you , just as it has been for me. Jan I'm not sure why some people are in and out and some have to stay longer, I think it probably has to do with the complexity of the surgery, just a quick trim of skin VS a wagon load of fat and skin (guess which category i'm in lol) . And Susie 2   , my dr. is dr Ponnuru, I really really like him alot, He is a professer so I guess not technically a resident, I feel like i'm in good hands with him, trusting God to keep me safe. Thanks again, susan
