I pulled weeds yesterday all day long and today my right hand is so sore that i can barely use it at all. so this is going to be shorter than usual....
Also my brother is in Skaggs hospital with a blood clot in his leg so im going to run over there and see him before work i hope if i can get around soon enough. would appreciate prayers for him...he is also a severe diabetic so that isnt for his favor either.

Looks like we are going to get more rain here today which is ok all of that we got and it wasnt even a half of an inch so we still need more. but the flower and gardens really appreciate the rain as do i ,,,,means i dont have to water lol ....

talk to you all later im really running late....i just got up so need to wake up and get going ...love you all.

Good Morning OH,

Jan~ so sorry to hear your brother is in the hospital. I have sent up a prayer for him, hope they get the issues resolved.

Well, have made it through 5 days of diet. Yes Dr. E's plan allows one small meal a day for the first week, has to be under 300 cal. I have protein shakes for breakfast and dinner and my meal at lunch. make something high protein and low carbs, found out okra is fantastic cooked whole and cooled with a little italian dressing on it, kind of messy but good finger food while driving. Had to eat lunch on the run while we worked this week, but DH is a good passenger and can get all ready so we can eat on the go.

Think the regularity issue resolved itself, going to keep doing prune juice and will check out the Dieter Tea at Wal-Mart.

Gonna close this and try to get some house work done. Love ya all, hope we get some sunshine this week-end.

Pouring rain today.  We went to Bob Evans for breakfast.  I had a breakfast burrito with egg, ham, bacon and sausage.  I pulled off about half the tortilla but ate about 3/4 of the wrap.  I thought I had eaten too much but I guess it wasn't.  Except for the tortilla it was all protein.

We went to 2 nurseries and spent way too much money but I have a nice selection for my flower garden.  Can't remember all we got but there's black-eyed Susans, mostly perennials and some annuals.  It should be very colorful.

Jan, hope your brother recovers soon.

Jeanie, you're lucky you get to have one meal a day.  I missed chewing.

I need to go grocery shopping but hate to get out in the rain again.  They have roasted chickens for $3.99 so I'm going get 2 and freeze one.  I have a $10 coupon for Fashion Bug which is next door to the grocery store so I'm going to look for summer slacks.  I probably need to look at the thrift store.

your flower garden sounds pretty....i have some black eyed susans in one of my beds and they keep getting more and more of them...I have to thin them out about every other year or they would take over the whole bed.

so did you get back out in the rain and go shopping? i guess it was raining all over the state today...

I haven't done much today. The rain has kept me inside and lazy. I guess I needed a day to do nothing. I did manage to clean out  a bag of clothes from my closet (which is packed to the gills). I need to weed out a lot more but I have a hard time letting go. Maybe after my LBL I will be able to get rid of more because they will be too big.

DH has been having some lung issues and is having to take several new meds. They said copd but not much more. I am trying to get him to see a specialist to find out more. he says he feels fine but has shortness of breath and a cough. The military has given lots of bad diagnosis in the past so I am hoping this is wrong too.

Hope you are doing well and staying on the liquid diet without too many problems.
