I love the Psalms today, especially the 91st Psalm, that’s one of my favorite.  It talks about God being our place of refuge and safety, He rescues us from our troubled times and keeps us safe.  We don’t have to worry about all the traps out there, He sets them off for us so we don’t get trapped in them.  If we make the Lord our refuge He will be our most high shelter no plague will come near us and He will order His angels to protect us where ever we go.  It’s such a beautiful Psalm and so reassuring especially in troubled times.

Proverbs is just as good, talking about discipline children, I know when I was a kid my dad didn’t spare the rod on us of course we knew after a time or two he meant what he said and I’m so glad he brought us up that way, we didn’t turn out to bad I guess lol.

The devotional sure was reassuring this morning, giving us the promise of victory and blessings in our lives, He really does take pleasure in blessing us greatly and seeing us live in victory all the time, it says he wants to bless us with armloads of blessings, now that’s a lot of blessings.  Living in victory and with blessings that over flow is what He wants and has for us each and every day.

Today’s Reading

Judges 1:1-2:9
Luke 21:29-22:13
Psalm 90:1-91:16
Proverbs 13:24-25

Daily Devotional

Psalm 126
"It seemed like a dream, too good to be true, when God [gave us the victory]…Now, God, do it again… so those with heavy hearts will come out laughing, with armloads of blessing"

When you have a heavy heart, when life deals you a difficult blow, God wants to turn things around in your favor. Not only does He want to bring you out, but He wants to bring you out with a smile and better off than you were before. He wants to give you the victory and fill you with armloads of blessings!

You might be thinking, “That sounds too good to be true. You don’t know my situation." But understand, God wants to overwhelm you with His goodness. He wants you to feel like you are living in a dream. The scripture says that He delights in the prosperity of His people. In other words, it gives Him great joy to bless you. You can be certain that when you stand in faith, even when it’s difficult, God will reward you. He’ll fill you with His peace. He’ll give you supernatural strength. He’ll give you the grace you need to face those challenges. You can be sure that He’ll always lead you into victory and fill you with armloads of blessings!

Today's thought: I thank You for Your promise of victory and blessing. I choose to keep my heart and mind focused on You. Have Your way in me and lead me into the life of blessing You have in store for me.

Good Morning Andy...

Boyee is my mind just FULL to overflowing of "Good Word" this morning!

Now you and I will have a successful day!  How could we do any other thing with all the promises that are ours for the receiving of them!?

Loved the part of the devotional that said:

You can be certain that when you stand in faith, even when it’s difficult, God will reward you. He’ll fill you with His peace. He’ll give you supernatural strength. He’ll give you the grace you need to face those challenges. You can be sure that He’ll always lead you into victory and fill you with armloads of blessings!

Isn't those words just exciting and comforting in light of this past week!?

I want to thank you too like Debbie Darl'n did recently, for your faithfulness to this post... it has been such a blessing.
