LBL scheduled

 I was very surprised at how far out they were scheduling surgery. The closet date I can get is July 19. Not as soon as I had hoped but its at least scheduled. I will say even though I am getting a much better price there at KU with the resident it is still expensive. I had gotten excited about the 3200 and 4200 quotes I heard about. Well mine is more than that. Its about 8300. DH didn't say a whole lot about it. He knew I was going to do it anyway. I have to stay overnight in the hospital but thats fine.
I will let you know how it goes.

Glad to hear you are scheduled. Did you like the Dr? He is a sweetheart. I figured a LBL would be much higher. Lots more to do and longer surgery time. I bet it is alot less than most Dr.'s.

Hey Barb, did you ever ask about he cost of the brachia...something ( upper arms) I was thinking of asking if he could do that with my breast reduction since ins. will pay for the b.r not the arms.

Never did ask about arms, wasn't planning on doing that procedure. Sorry.

Is that for Dr. Hornbostel?  I hope it doesn't take THAT long to get a date.  I go to his seminar on May 2nd.  I will be devistated if it takes that long!!  Then again I have no choice!! 

no that is for a lower body lift (plastic surgery) that she is having.   
for the weight loss surgery it may be that far out too. they have to get your insurance approval and all ..and you have things that you have to get done too.

Oh I have already done the approval and got approved and the mental health exam and have the letter for that.  I am just waiting for the nutrition consult and the office visit. 

congrats on getting scheduled for the lbl....that is quite an extensive surgery and involves a lot that is the reason for the higher price.....be nice to have that and and upper body lift too lol then we could get rid of all of that excess lol ....

Congratulations!! July will be here before you know it, where are you having it done? on wed. I go in for the panniculectomy (so excited) but am having at ku med center. What all do they do with the lbl? i need it all from the ankles to my ears...think it'd cover that? lol

 It will be done at Heartland in Overton Park unless something changes.
