WHATS HAPPENING WEDNESDAY

Lord have mercy , i hope  i never have to go thru another night like last night, they put me on the hall way medications that i have never done before....I was about in tears. One of the girls from the front office that is also a nurse came back and saw me on them and ask me if she could help me any....if it hadnt been for her helping me i wouldnt have ever gotten done i know. she is so so sweet.
I sure am glad that State left and didnt see me on there and decide to follow me around . it was awful. dont know why i am punishing myself by working ....sure making me think about it a lot.

Well state is gone and didnt find too much....the worst things they found were in charting which is awful in their opinion but it has nothing to do with patient care. just someone forgeting to write something down.

It isnt sunshiny here this morning , looks like it might rain which would be great. it really needs too. Even tho it is my day off and i want to be outside playing lol

Im still tired after these last three days in a row and all of the tension in the building so i think i will get off here and go back to bed for awhile.

I am at work so will be brief but wanted to shout out to all the Missouri Board folks. It's kind of filtered sun here in Springfield right now. DH planted hibiscus (hot pink) yesterday - three of them. They weren't my choice because they die back and I wanted something more of a living privacy fence however, he really wanted hibiscus. They are beautiful and we have good luck with them. I bought a big artificial arrangement of red and white geraniums at the thrift store and put it on the end table on our front porch. I told John the neighbors are wondering how he got his geraniums blooming so early!!!
We had the family room and master bathroom painted last week. The family room is kind of a light coffee with cream color - love it. The bathroom is bright yellow and I mean bright. I like it but it is taking a little more getting used to. Bought some pretty blue towels over the weenend and that helps. Now need a beachy/cottagey print to hang in there. I'll be looking. We're also looking for a print for over the Fam Rm fireplace - think we're found what we want but are waiting a little while.
Jan - I don't see how you do those shifts on your feet but know about the $$$. It's nice.
Jeanie - I'm thinking about you on liquids. Know you will do awesome.
Everyone else - I love you and hold you up in prayer daily.

Lana i have bright pink, soft pink , white and bright red hibiscus in my yard several of them....i sure wish they stayed alive and blooming all year wouldnt that be pretty?  they do in Hawaii and lots of the other tropical islands...

your bathroom sounds really pretty with the yellow and blue...that is a good combination.

you know being on my feet doesnt hurt at all since i discovered the thera shoes. they are like the ones made by Skeachers but about 1/4 the price lol .

Good morning to all.was looking like rain here but the sun is trying to peek through now.still a chance of rain sometime today but storm's later on in the week.
we could use some rain but it sure does make the grass grow fast.

jan i know you are glad the state is gone so are a lot other people.we know you and the other's take good care of the resident's but the paper work they have you all do is crazy.you could spend more time with the resident's.see you some time this week at work if it just to say hello.

lana good to see you on here again.sure will miss seeing you at the may meeting.not sure yet if i am off for the one in june.i have not seen a lot of the people in a while.miss you all.

jeanine rae how is the liquid diet going for you.after today is will go better for you.the first 3 day's is the hardest.i sure went through a lot of pop cicle's when i was on my liquid diet.all the support i got on here really helped me and andy went on the liquid diet with me when i was getting ready for surgery.you go girl.you are doing great.

jo glad to hear your hubby is doing better.did you see dwts last night.kate finally got voted off.i was off work yesterday soo i got to see it in between watch biggest loser.

Susan , I will see you tomorrow and Friday if you work......well they didnt suspend the person we thought after all they let her come back ....and she was being her usual self yesterday. lol just like always.....

 Hello everyone,

   I just wanted to touch base, I am a year and 8 months out and I went down to 160 and I am up to 170. I wanted to gain a little because I was looking a little frail ( so I was being told ) I am going to get back down to about 165. I am a solid 8/10 and I am happy with that.

   I just got back from the Dermatologist and I had a Biopsy done, it looks like I have skin cancer. He was confident that I do. I hope you will keep positive thoughts and prayers for me and my family. I am waiting for the results which is the hardest... the waiting game. I am sure GOD will get us through this like he has everything else.

  Has anyone else lost friends due to Gastric Bypass? I know I have asked this question before, but I have lost several due to them not being able to have it for various reasons, but its been hard for me to lose so called friends because of something I have no control over. 

Jan, I hope you are doing well today. I went to buy starts for our garden yesterday and thought of you ;) I miss you all and hope to have more time soon to get back active on  here.

Good to have you back DYING_2_B-THYN.  Size 8/10, wow, I have one skirt size 12 but size 14 seems to be the smallest I can get in to.  I need to lose another 20 lbs. but can't seem to get the pounds moving.  I am joining Jazzercise this week so that should get my weight loss revved up.

I don't know anyone that has died because of WLS or not being able to have it.  I only know 2 people that have had the surgery and they had lap band.  One has done very well but the other one regained most of what she lost.  She never learned to eat healthy and she drinks a lot of alcohol. 

My husband has had several skin cancers and they were removed and no further problems.  So, we will be thinking good thoughts for you and offering up a prayer also.

Lori you didnt mean that we had friends die because of wls did you? but that you had lost them as a friend??? I didnt but i never had many friends before i lost a lot of weight. i kept away from people so much that i never let anyone get close enough to me to lose them...

Well you can buy me some starts for my garden too if you were thinking about me lol

Hope you get good results on the skin cancer.....it isnt nearly as bad as it use to be. ok? will be praying for you

Jan, there's no way I could do what you do.  It takes a special person to be a nurse and to work with the elderly.

So glad Kate was voted off.  It's way past time.  Buzz couldn't dance but he is a nice person.  She is so crabby and whiney.

Anyone watch Biggest Loser?  I couldn't believe Koli ate over 4,000 calories and still lost 10 lbs. 

Jeanie, I have a nice cushy pillow for you on the loser's bench. 

JO :::: lol no way am i special for working with the elderly...that was and is my calling always has been. even when i was a little girl there were two elderly neighbors and i just loved to go talk to them....
well it looks like rain here and had off and on all day but no luck so far.

i didnt get to watch anything but saw who got voted off on dwts on a residents tv....
