I feel like im late, ilm late , for a very important date lol ...got up late and then had to pay some bills fast before got started on anything else.

Can you believe this beautiful weather we are having? almost got hot yesterday...but im sure not complaining....cant stay long here this morning as we have to get out and mow the yard. it has grown so much that it looks like a jungle out there. no kidding, ask Bec?
Bec did you get home alright? Your daughter called me to see if you were still here not long after you left....I told her you were heading to Andy and Susans....

Well i am calling a real estate agent this morning....and will see when they can come out. will give them 30 days and then will see what sort of showings they have done. It seems like when we have had places for sale before we did all the work and even found the buyer and then had to give the agent money for doing nothing. aint going to happen this time.....will put that in there or they wont get us to sign up....or at least a way less than if they did it themselves.got lots to do , like painting and decluttering and all that good stuff.lol Joe said making more work lol...yeah i guess so.

Sure did enjoy Becs visit even tho it was way too short. got to talk and talk and talk.....alot  about a lot of things.

If we could just sell the rental house and that lot so we could pay off all the things we owe then that would be enough and we could enjoy the rest of it. lol ....we may try to do that too.
well got to go and get to mowing....it is growing by the minute -------listen you hear that? it is the grass growing  lol

post away and will talk to you all later in the day.

After the winter we had we deserve this beautiful weather.  Max mowed Saturday and the yard needs mowing again.

Max saw the neurologist yesterday but didn't get any answers other than the neuropathy is getting worse in his feet and legs.  The doctor wants him to take Aricept again, but he tried it once and had too many side effects.  He is feeling better.

Carbs....ugh.  You asked how I was doing and I say not very well.  Monday I had about 60 carbs so that was ok, but yesterday I didn't keep  track and I know it was way more than 60.  I did get Almond Breeze so I will use than with my morning Click.  It has 4 carbs so lower than milk and only 40 calories for a cup.  I did take a walk at lunch yesterday and plan to walk today.

Did anyone watch Biggest Loser?  I'm getting a little tired of it.  Hate it the way they do at commercial time.  After the commercial, they repeat the last 5 minutes they already did before the commercial.  I had it recorded so ai hit FF.

How about DWTS?  Some evil people are voting for Kate.  She is the worst ever on there and there have been some bad ones.  Of course, that's just my opinion.  My favorites are Nicole and Evan.  I like Niecey although she's not a great dancer.  She's funny.

Jan, Max would be in heaven if he could come down and fill up the car with starts.  Just don't know if he's going to be able to do as much yardwork as he wants to.  While the weather is nice, I need to get what I want in my flower garden and get it planted.  I will need to get my gardening gloves out.  Can't stand to get dirt all over my hands......ewwwwww.

i agree with you about biggest loser....that is very aggrivating about comericals and the weight of someone that counts. silly actually.... and dwts people that liked that show that Kate was on evidently are voting her in each week....maybe her kids have a phone bank lol ...
my favorites are Nicole and Evan too. both are very graceful and are improving each week but then they both should that is what they are sort of involved with any way.
i think they should have plain ordinary people that have never danced do it one year. that would be interesting wouldnt it?
well come on down and i will let Max have starts off of anything he wants.

Good Morning OH,

Well had a couple of busy days, took DH to his Dr. apps, his pulmonologist answered our questions about his meds, and said that his lung function seems to be about the same, did say that his water retention is probably causing his breathing to be labored. Went to his PCP and she put him on a high dose of lasix for a few days and put him on a low sodium diet, he has gained more weight, guess he caught my fear of not being able to eat our favorite foods, my bad seems like I got desperate to cook all the things I love before surgery. Got us both back on track, only 4 days before I start liquids, so glad I can have one small meal. I feel like I'm having a panick attack, my goodness I know I'm not going to starve and have to do this for my surgery, but it's worse than when I quit smoking.

Jan~I understand about the real estate agent thing. We had some bad experience with them, and the trouble is it's just so hard to know the ones that are really honest, some of them get so good at telling you what you want to hear. I hope you get someone that really has a conscience and does good by you and Joe.

I can hear the grass growing. We did get our water heater fixed Monday, the problem is we hadn't changed elements in a few years, first somebody didn't identify the breakers right, he got a shock and had to find the right breaker to turn off, then after they were replaced he turn the breaker back on before the tank was full, it fried the top element and we had to replace it. didn't cost all that much. We are thankful that we could just replace the elements, couldn't have afforded a new water heater.

Jo~I don'****ch biggest loser, but did watch DWTS, and I agree with you, don't like Kate, she doesn't have the right attitude. I like Nicole and Evan also.

Well I'm taking the day off and gonna try to get myself going and start some house work, I hate housework but has to be done.

Love you all have a good day talk to you all later.

JEANiIE:::::: glad that you got your water heater fixed .....at least if you have to have a cold bath it isnt 20 below anymore. lol .
it seems like a lot of people do that about eating a last meal before surgery....the way i thought of it was that with being as fat as i was i had tasted everything there was to eat at least once probably a lots more than once so there wasnt anything that i was going to miss out on lol.....i had done had it.
and besides one of these days you can have some of those things again , at least a taste. You have to think of this as a life style change. it is normal to be nervous if you werent there would be something wrong. but you can do it. I know you can ....and if you start getting weak minded about something get on here and holler or facebook or email or phone....i always have my phone with me. you can do it. ....love and hugs. we are all here for you.

Weeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
Boy oh boy oh boy was it FUN when Joe took me a ride on their trike!!!!  A whole hour!!!  I LOVED the wind blowing in my face!!! And the very great thing about that is that you don't have to worry about falling over!!!!  I enjoyed that ride so very very much!!!

Mimi and I DID talk and talk and talk.  We should have the whole of the world straighted out but oh well! ~tee hee

I went down to the support group meeting on Friday night because I felt like I most sure fell into the category of "food addict"  ~ha   Was able to meet Jeanie Rae and her friend... I am hoping the very very best for you Jeanie and continued success to your friend as well... it sure was good to see she had posted when I got back.   Was so good to see Lana too...she's a sweetheart.   We decided we could "relate" to each other in some ways for sure.  It was so nice that you folks down there let me come and set in even though I just can't REALLY be part of the group.

I went down from there and stayed with my daughter in Branson for a couple of days and her friend took us down to Roaring River State park and we did the trails around there it sure was fun... I took off my shoes and socks and put my feet in the water where it is coming out of the side of the hill... said I was getting "hydrotherapy" ~tee hee it was COLD but felt so good after wards.

Then on Monday I went on down to Mimi's... I surly enjoyed looking over all the gardens   and as Mimi said came home with WONDERFUL stuffs to put in my yard... the whole back end of my puddle jumper was loaded... I stopped at a tiny stand by the side of the road that had believe it or not.... balloon plants. I was thrilled as they were small and not so terribly expensive as they are here if you can even find them.  I like them because they come back every year and bloom a good part of the summer... just fascinates me how they do... blow up like a balloon and then just burst open! It's great!  I got enough to put around the base of my two trellises.  I hope to get some double bloomer morning glory seed like  a relative gave Mimi... but if I can't find them I will wait and maybe Mimi will have some seed next year from her plants?

Then yesterday when I left Mimi's I stopped and visited a couple of hours with Andy and Susan... they have precious "children" ... by the time I left the newest one would come on up to me and let me hold her. Andy and Susan are always so willing to help in anyway they can with any need they see and that is just precious to me. Many has been the time Andy has had the answer to something I need ... they both have been a real blessing for sure.

When got home I was so pleased to see that my sugar snap seed has come up and my onions too... now I have to get my corn planted.... have bunches of things to plant now and things to mulch and so forth... by the time I get all that done it will be time to plant the rest of the garden...

Well I want to say thank you to Jo  (biker dude) , Mimi, the OH group, Andy and Susan for the wonderful few days I had away from home.... I just set out there on Mimi's porch and did nothing... it was so refreshing to me as I rarely set still at home... I always feel like I need to be getting something done.

Blessings to all,

Bec

LOL Bec im so so glad that you had fun and that i could lend you my hubby and the trike for a little while. I knew you would like that...hope that we can come see you sometime soon again and bring the trike ,that would be fun huh?
I hope all your flowers and bushes i gave you do great. and the little balloon flowers you gave me are looking well as of now. I planto ed them porch side of the pond so i can see them when we are sitting there.
Thanks for coming i got to sit and enjoy things too. im like you i dont get to do that much. After you left i weeded the strawberry bed and watered it and this morning when i got up and looked they seemed to have grown a lot....looked like all of them had a bloom on them , guess they were needing a drink....also watered my spring veggie garden and yes there is a whole row of carrots there. goodie lol
Anyway we were talking about a boot camp? maybe if i offer rides on the trike with Joe it will entice a lot of them to come ? what you think ? lol

was so glad that you came to see me it always makes me happy for friends to come all the way down here to see me....I know it isnt easy to drive here but i really appreciate it a lot. hope you come back again really soon.
