Well here it is Sunday and beautiful outside, was planning on going fishing but have to replace the water heater elements. Not such a difficult job, but have to drain it, then since we're on a well we need to try and get as much of the mineral deposits out as we can, so when all is said and done it will be an all day project.
Start my liquid a week from tomorrow so think I'm gonna try replace one meal a day with protein shake see if I can get myself in the mode. I so want the surgery to be as easy as possible.
Susan~I think being on the liquid has put me in fear of failure, I keep getting a feeling like I don't know if I can do this, although I know I'm not going to starve, it's like I may never be able to eat again, sometimes I think it's going to be harder than when I quit smoking, guess I will have to white knuckle it and do one day at a time. LOL
Susie~That's a wow moment and a half. I plan on visiting my brothers and sister in CA around a year after surgery, would be the greatest thing if they don't recognize me at the door.
SusyAlba~I think you had a double wow. I know your son probably didn't understand, but I do. You GO GIRL!.
Jan~Hope you and Sugar had a real good time. Look forward to seeing you in May. Might be able to get our fishing trip going next month. I think this month we're gonna be busy trying to catch up again.
Well my youngest is going to be here soon to start draining the water heater, need to get some things done so I can make supper. Will talk to you all later,
maybe soon...if now at least after your surgery.
anyway i understand about now being able to do something you want to do when you have to do something else. ....it will all work out sweetie. missed seeing you this month.
wont be long now till you start your liquid diet. ,,,,stock up on the sugar free popcicles. wal mart has some tropical one if you can get there before Andy and Susan lol just a joke Susan.....

I hate to admit this but I put on a pair of crop pants I wore last year and they are a little snug. So, I better hunker down and exercise and watch my eating. I don't eat much at meals but it's snacking that is getting me.
Max worked outside all day yesterday and I think he overdid it. No painting today. He was very restless and about midnight fell out of bed. I helped him back in bed but he was restless, tossing and turning and kicking I moved to the couch. He got up about 10 this morning and doesn't remember a thing about last night. I've asked twice if he wants to go to the ER to be checked out. He may have had a TIA. I'll be keeping a close eye on him.
Jeanie, I won't kid you and say the liquid diet is easy because it isn't. I worked the first 5 days and it was rough, but my co-workers kept me going. They didn't eat anything around me and when I was tempted to eat they kept me on track. My doctor said water and liquid protein only, but I did eat some Jello and SF popcycles. My surgery was on Tuesday and the Saturday before I was just starving for something to eat. Max was gone and I found a miniature Snickers. It tasted so wonderful but I felt so guilty. That's the only cheat I did. Keep your eye on the prize.
Those WOW moments are great aren't they!!
