So, my insurance in going to finally pay for weight loss surgery since January!

I am looking at a few places, but I wanted to see what people thought of Missouri Bariatric Services at the University of Missouri?

I did their seminar online, but before my appointment I was wondering if anyone had an opinion of the people that work there, the program...stuff like that.

I am a bit nervous about the office visit and just wanted to see what other people thought.

Thanks so much!!!!

I was also approved for my surgery, and I am going to the missouri bariatric services, Dr. Roger De La Torre, is going to be my surgeon, I dont have a date yet because Im waiting on my sleep study results. but to your question.. Dr Suttmoeller, is a wonderful Dr. he really knows his stuff and I was a nervous wreck, and they understand that 100% he told me if I wasnt nervous about it then hed think something was wrong with me... :o) I worry about everything and seriously theres nothing to it... I have so far done my psch eval and Dr Agara Reddy, did it and the whole process with him took like 10 min. ummm I had to have a sleep study which took the longest, and I found out I have sleep apnea so i have to have another study with the cpap machine so the surgeon has that number for when I come out of surgery, so I hope that helps ya ......and good luck..
