surgery cancelled

 My surgery was cancelled by the doctor around 8:30 this morning. I am not happy to say the least. I will detail everything later after I get his response.
Its weird how you have to get yourself mentally ready for something like this and poof. We both had to get off work and have lost a days pay. It will be really hard for DH to get time off to drive me anytime soon . I guess people just do not care if they mess up other peoples schedules. Anyway until I get this resolved I will try not to say too much negative. I was really disappointed. Now I am trying to see if I can get some work this week.

It is such a letdown when you have yourself prepared and ready to do something and then is doesn't happen, expecially surgery. 

Hope everything works out for you to have it done very soon.

so sorry about that Susie....did they say why they canceled the surgery on you??? that really is the pitts.

Oh gosh, i'm so sorry, that is what happened to me with the first panni dr, he called a couple day's before it was scheduled and made up some lame excuse and cancelled....let us know what you find out, maybe it will turn out to be a good thing tho it's hard to think like that now I know. good luck, Susan

Susie I'm sorry that happened and I hope there is a good reason! It happened to my dad too last fall...before heart surgery. They had to stay several days away from home til the new day...but the Dr had been a hunting or fishing trip in Canada and a storm came in and the only way out was by a helicopter and it couldn't come get them due to the storm. It WAS a good excuse I'd say.
Everything happens for a reason...I like to say that as corny as it sounds and as much as some people hate it.

I hope you get to have a new date asap.
