WHATS HAPPENING TUESDAY

Good morning from Sunny downtown Cedercreek, Mo. here in the big city we have sunshine and a forcast of 80 degrees today.

yesterday i used the push mower for about 3 hours , walking back and forth and back and forth....getting lots of sun for sure now...love it. We got the tomato tubs filled and sit up...I put down black plastic under them and weighted it down on the edges with rocks so that weeds wont be getting into them too easily. around the edges of the black plastic i am spraying with weed killer out about 6 inches all the way around ...that way Joe wont get too close when he mows and throw grass seeds into the pots. Today we are going to put in the T-Post beside each bucket for the fencing to go against for support for the tomatoes and for them to be tied to...Hopefully this will work well enough...

My tomato plants are growing by leaps and bounds since i have been puting them out of the green house daily....but have been putting them back in at night. as long as it stays up above 50 at night it is ok but just to be on the safe side i put them back into the green house at night. going to have to put all of my geraniums in there for the next few nights too...in the 30s is juat too cold for them.

have to go to town today and get some things for the guys to eat this next week end. I will be gone Friday and Saturday....will be getting back on Saturday night. probably will stay all night with Sugar on Saturday night and go to church...Joe will pick me up then or if he can get up  early enough he can go to church with us too. dont know that part yet. will see what everyone wants to do.

well need to go feed Rebel, our dog, he is standing at the back door hollering at us. he hears us up and wants to be fed right away. also need to feed the chickens and get the eggs gathered. the six hens are for the most part laying 6 eggs a day now.; the brown eggs are so big that you cant get them into ordinary egg cartons...the lids never shut. most of the cartons i have are for large eggs so i guess these are x-large. im beginning to get my taste for them back again now i know.

post away will catch up with you all later today.

It warm and windy today.  Yesterday, I finally planted my herbs garden and the strawberry seeds.  The SB seeds were so small can't believe they will amount to anything.  These are windowsill gardens.

I so enjoyed my days off.  I worked in my room and did some alterations.  Went thru my summer clothes and switched out the winter ones.

Jan, I really do enjoy cooking except Monday thru Friday when I'm working.  I'm always collecting new recipes.  Max does like a meal every night.  Once in awhile I get Wendy's for him and I have a shake.  I got a bag of pinto beans to cook this week with my ham bone.  I'm going to fix them in the pressure cooker.
