WHATS HAPPENING....MONDAY
I spent another horrible night last night with the leg cramps from unearthly reagions....oh my gosh....I havent had any for a long long time because i have been watching what i eat really well. and last night at work a lady came along and gave all of us a little basket filled with candies. i sat mine on the desk and yep i ate them....eating sugar gives me these horrible leg cramps....now i dont know why it would but it does. i have thought that for a while when i was having them really often. so i started watching ....i dont mean a little bit but like eating that candy...dont know how much was in there but probably just like sitting down and eating spoonsfull fo sugar out of a bag. ...small amounts in like protein bars dont bother me ....you know maybe it is the eating of it totally by itself , if it is eaten with like protein maybe it breaks down different??? i dont know but i WILL NOT DO THAT TO MYSELF AGAIN. . I was screaming i hurt so bad. the cramps were up in my thighs, and the bottom of my feet, in my buttocks, and even some in the backs of my arms and shoulders. i was in pain. finally i got one arm to relax a little and grabbed the bio freeze on the night stand and started rubbing it everywhere , that always relaxes the muscles now this morning im sore as a boil. i guess my brain just needed an extra painful experience to get it ....
Im going one day this week up to see a condo that is for sale in Forsyth on the lake for my brother.
one of the girls that lives there says that it is really a good price for it. he and his wife are wanting to sell their big house and get them a condo that will be easier for them to take care of. ....
im starting on my pots for the tomatoe plants today and going to get them ready and in place where i want them , some of them need holes drilled into the bottom of the tubs yet too. have to get the area out there mowed today too. i guess i will have to use the push mower on it since Joe cant get the rider going...and he just hate push mowers lol ...im just glad that i can do that now.
Susan I just saw you fly by yesterday...when im on the back end like i have been lately i dont get out of there much. lol .
I know your surgeon is going to be so proud of you and how well you have done with your weight loss Thursday.
wow 39 Thursday morning is going to be cool traveling for you and Andy isnt it? so you all will just go up and right back huh? tell Bec we all said hi....
Jo::: sure wish i could sew , i had some awesome outfits before i lost weight that i had to give away. but with all of them being 2x or 22/24s i would have had to take them apart totally. i guess i could have made two outfits out of them ....or one for me and one for someone else. lol .
Dont that make you mad when people abuse dress codes when it is giving you a relaxed one for certain days. they always want to take it to the limit of what they should and mess it up for everyone else.
oh wow yummy sounding the dill bread. i love flavored hot breads , lol that was part of my being way over weight i never knew when to stop on things like breads....nice and hot with lots of butter on it....see i think i could gain weight just thinking about it lol
everyone have a wonderful Monday....Andy good luck on the new job. i know you will be awesome at it....
get out and get some sunshine today looks like it will be beautiful ....again.

My Easter dinner was great if I do say so myself. Instead of scalloped potatoes, I did a Mashed Potato Bake. You mash the potatoes adding a package of cream cheese, milk and sour cream; then bake for 30 minutes, add more cheese on top and bake another 10 minutes. Really great way to have hot mashed potatoes. I never like to do mashed potatoes for company because they cool off when I'm putting everyting else on the table.
My GDs loved the cake. They think I made it....LOL I made a Jello salad and will post it. It was really good too. The Dill Bread and Cheddar Biscuits were so good. I rarely eat bread but I do enjoy homemade. I had a little of everything except cake and ice cream.
Jan, that is sad that people don't know the purpose of Easter. Isn't is odd how certain foods affect us? Sugar gives me a headache and makes me jittery and sometime makes me throw up. Ice cream makes me nausaus.
As for the dress code at work, the office manager says she will send you home if you aren't dressed properly. Two of the women have been told repeatedly about their low neckline. One has finally gotten the message. The other has just returned from maternity leave and I've not seen her. It's aggravating to me that clothing manufacturers make necklines so low. I wear a tank top under some things but don't always want to wear a tank. I've passed on buying tops and dresses because the neckline was too low. Personally, I would never wear a low cut neckline even if I was a party girl.
I have a list of things to do today. This afternoon I plan to work in my woman cave.
Andy, hope you like your new job.

Well one more day and I will know my New Beginning Date. Love the way that sounds. Am so excited.
When we shopped last week I made sure and got things DH would have no trouble making, will stop tomorrow and get some more protein powders I think at the Healthy Super Market on Republic road. Really looking for powders to put in water or in kool-aid.
Tried to make turkey stock from scratch yesterday, used the bones from a breast I roasted had it done and got super tired so DH promised to put it away and forgot, so now he has to buy some comercial stock, had to throw away the home made. Oh well at least I had the meat I saved in the freezer already. LOL, leave it to a man to forget something like that.
Jan~I think we can do the fishing thing. Will love to spend some time catching crappie. Two of my sons went down the bull shoals somewhere and caught some white bass, it's ok but would rather have crappie or good catfish.
So sorry to hear you are having cramps, I know about the screaming pain, have never had them in so many places at once before, my heart goes out to you. As for the eating something even when you know you shouldn't I have done that so many times and still do it, once I get started just have no will power at all. God Bless you.
Susan~I also hope things go well for Andy at work. I want to return to work and know that it's going to be difficult to get myself going again. Have sat in this house for the last 5 years, with no motivation to leave, till now. Am taking one day at a time and making it one of my goals.
Jo~Sounds like you had a good Easter Sunday with your Family. We postponed the gettogether for a couple of weeks because some of the Grandchildren had to be with their other parent. So will have a big family BBQ or something. My joy is watching the cousins all play together, and seeing how much they love each other. Everyone went to church and that is the important part.
I'm cleaning the oven today and even though the windows are open it still stinks in here. Don't know why I let it get as bad as it does, should clean it once a month, but I guess I just forget.
DH went to Springfield so he doesn't have the fumes.
Hope everyone has a good Monday, gonna post and see if I can find something else to keep my busy for a couple of hours.
yeah you know the liquid diet you have to be on before surgery and the week or weeks after surgery and you need lots of chicken broth.....i made my own by cooking a whole chicken and then taking the chicken out plus i put celery, onions etc etc in when cooking the chicken then you take all of that out and that is so much better than that broth you can buy....
we will have to see about fishing..and when your surgery is and all of that. it would be fun and help you pass the time before surgery and that liquid diet ....that is hard before surgery but afterwards it seems like it is way too much to eat. lol ...
