Daily Bible Reading - Sunday - Happy Easter
Today, we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I'm so thankful that God sent His Son to the earth to pay the punishment for our sins and open the way for us to live in eternity with Him.
The scripture says in 2 Corinthians 5:21 that, "God made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God in Christ." Because of Jesus, we are made righteous or in right-standing with Almighty God. Sometimes, it's easy to think that it's our own actions that make us righteous. We think that if we do the right things, if we say the right things, if we are "good enough," then we can be righteous. But righteousness isn't about what we do; it's about what He did. He already did everything that needed to be done so that we could be the righteousness of God. Why? Because He loves us. See, sin separates us from God, but God doesn't want to be separated from us. He loves us with an everlasting love, and He wants to be united with us today.
Romans 10:9-10 tells us that all we have to do is believe this in our hearts and confess it with our mouths, and we will be saved and have eternal life with Him. Let this be an Ephesians 3:20 year when God will do "exceedingly abundantly above and beyond all we could ask, think or imagine." I believe that this is a testimony to what God wants to do in our lives as well. Have a blessed Easter all!

Daily Devotional
"You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in Your bottle. You have recorded each one in Your book"
(Psalm 56:8, NLT)
Do you know how important you are to God? He cares so much about every detail of your life. He cares about your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. In fact, what you are going through is so important to Him that He records every sorrow and collects every tear you've shed. Why would God record your sorrows and collect your tears? Because He loves you so much, and He is your Vindicator. He's keeping account of every wrong that's ever been done to you so that He can make up for every single one of them. He wants to restore everything that has ever been stolen. He wants to heal every single hurt and pain. He sees the longings and desires of your heart, and you can rest knowing that He is working things out for your good!
So today, know that you are precious to Him. He has your best interest at heart. He is working to bring restoration and peace to you. Keep standing, keep believing, and keep doing the right thing because the One who collects your tears will restore every broken place in your life!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me and setting me free. Thank You for being my Vindicator. I choose to release every hurt, pain and sorrow, knowing that You will make all things new in Your time. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
this today is talking about how much God loves us that he gave his only son....and that he cares about our thoughts our feelings and emotions....i want to tell you all a small little story that is so special to me....
One day Joe and I were looking at a bird book and we came across the pictures of the painted bunting if you dont know what they look like google it ....they are beautiful. I told Joe you know i wish God would let me see one of those up close some time before i die....
About 15 minutes later i was in the bedroom making up the bed and Joe hollered , Honey come here, come here. i said what>? he said just come here you wont believe this.
I came and looked out the window where he was pointing to the bird feeder and there on the ground was not one but 3 of the most beautiful birds i have ever seen....Painted Buntings. now tell me God doesnt here and doesnt care about you....If he cares enough that i would see a certain bird just think how much more he cares about your problems....it just was that showing me a bird was a lot easier and quicker than a lot of other problems to solve. ....I do have some pictures of them too taken thru the window ...but i have them and every time i see them i remember and thank God.
