WHATS HAPPENING EASTER SUNDAY
Jeanie the crappie are maybe starting to bite. Joe and George went out yesterday fishing and caught two , bam bam right away but that was all they caught. Nice size ones but full of eggs so in about a week they should be biting big time, that will be lots of fun ....Im going to Ok this next friday and saturday but will be back next saturday night if next sunday is pretty maybe you can come down and we can go fishing. would be fun to catch a big bunch wouldnt it?
Yesterday was beautiful wasnt it. didnt get up to about 72 but felt warmer to me. I planted about a 100 summer bulbs. ...just itching to plant some seeds but know better really . there is alway that last frost that hasnt happened yet. it always makes me think it will ruin my Iris. never has but it frost about the time the iris get big buds on them. one last time. which is usually the first week of May.
Well i found 3 frogs in that front pond but dont think they are the noise makers...i think it is little tree frogs...i went out there and sat for a long time and listened and it was coming from up in the elm, trees i think. lol who knows. but they sure are loud. I love to listen to them but they are just such a high pitch sound that it wakes me up ...
cleaned out the pond in the shade garden and have the fountain going in it. now the deer will get in there , hopefully not . I have made some changes to the area that they may not want to go into it. and i sprayed some deer proofing on the plants all around the area. ...
My Hostas are all coming up so pretty and getting so big already. seems like everything is really growing fast ....
My tomato plants i have been sitting them out in the sun daily and back in the green house at night they are growing by leaps and bounds lol ....i am planting them this year into those big pots and will have metal t post beside each pot to make fencing for them to climb on....i bought a big thing of clear plastic yesterday and that way i can sit them out early and put the plastic over them at night or if there is a chance of frost or cool weather. and make sort of a mini green house over them....should get them going early like this. hopefully.
Well got to work today , Am going to go out and pick a big bouquet of Daffodils and take to work today....they are just beautiful this year. and i have so so many of them...all up along the drive way they are abvout 5 to 6 flowers deep....and along one sidewalk. then i have the naricissis coming up and starting to bloom now too. ...i keep every year digging up some and putting them along more sidewalks and drives. it really looks good in the spring. will only get better as time goes on. at least the deer dont bother those. they will eat just about anything else. even the orange daylillies , darn deer. crazy.
well i woke up in the middle of the night and couldnt go back to sleep so got up to do this, am beginning to get sleepy again so will go back to bed for a few more hours of sleep.....maybe. hopefully ...

Good morning everyone.Happy easter to all.sure look's like it will be another pretty day.the sun is starting to shine here already.the weather said last night rain on wednesday and thursday. hope the rsain does not start too early on wednesday as andy and i have to be on the road by 500am to go to columbia.
jan i will see you at work some where today.what other day's to you work?the week day's you work you will see andy as he is leaving.he work's 900am to 200pm.the hour's work out great for us.
you are right about a little bit of cool air yet.they said last night we could drop to 39 by thursday morning.burrrr.

I worked out in my woman cave all afternoon. Rearranged things and got it organized a little better. Did some alterations on a couple things. I have a wrap-around skirt that didn't fit (1X) when I bought it off Ebay before surgery. Then it did fit for a short time and then was too big. I took it up a couple inches on the side. I got out all my spring/summer things. I'm bummed we can't wear crop pants and sandals to work this summer like we have the last 2 years. Some people abused the privilege and looked like they were ready for a picnic so no more casual summer.
I'm off tomorrow so I plan to sew a lot. Max has an MRI in the morning and is going to the Royal's game in the afternoon. The handyman will be here to paint the kitchen ceiling.
I have everything about ready to cook for my dinner this evening. Need to bake the Dill Bread in the bread machine this afternoon.
We're headed to church in a little bit.
