WHATS HAPPENING ALL????

it is suppose to start raining around noon. that is ok i have to go to work this afternoon have to be there at 2 so it can rain while im at work that is perfect. besides the things i have planted all need some rain on them....things just seems to do better with rain water than watering doesnt it?

I have a pond next to the bedroom and have it sit up and running...well there is a little frog in there that kept me awake all night long...he is one loud little thing...i have a sound machine and i run that to mask out sudden noisies but he was louder than it was  and when i hear a sudden noise when sleeping it wakes me up so ....I closed the windows and turned the sound machine up but he was still louder....going outside here in a minute to see if i can find him and will put him in another pond somewhere. I have enough of them that he should be happy where ever.

Have my front porch sort of decorated. I hung two pots of petunias up there that i saved over the winter. they have been blooming all winter in the green house. need to trim them back some and let them get another life going.

got my new mandavia potted up and ready to go but will have to wait about sitting them out ...still gets a little too cool at night or could and if they started growing and twining wouldnt want to cut them off if we had a cold night.

I again weeded most of the day yesterday. did that till my hands were sore. had to keep rubbing them with bio freeze last night to get the swelling out ....darn arthritis.

well need to get busy have only about 4 hours to do what i want before having to start getting ready for work...first on my list ====see if i can find that darn little frog.....come here froggy froggy......

Susan i will see you on Sunday i guess. shame someone has to work the holidays isnt it...the price we pay for making the big bucks lol
Honey are you sure those are dogwood trees i think they are bradford pears. the dogwood dont bloom until after the redbuds and the redbuds are just now getting their buds on them ....out in the woods and stuff right now are the wild pear trees that are blooming and they look so pretty...we have one in the yard of the rental house and it is blooming to all get out. beautiful tree since we trimmed it up some.

Didn't get up until 7:30.  I will pick up my ham today.  There's a thrift store in the same center as the ham store so I'm going to check it out.  I need some summer slacks.

I have a makeup class for my Stephan Ministry program this afternoon.  Tomorrow I hope to work in my woman cave.  Max is going to paint the kitchen walls.

Jan, I didn't mean that because hubby is almost 74 he should expect to be in pain all the time, but he complains about every little ache.  His left side is weak due to all the strokes he's had and there's really nothing that can be done for that.  He has arthritis and because he's on Coumadin he can't take a lot of meds that might help.  He is quite the drama king.  It's always the worst pain he has ever had.

Looks like it's going to pour down rain any minute.

Really windy up here on the hill today. I sure wish I could afford a wind generator. It would run all the time. There are supposed to be big storms tonight, hope they aren't severe. I have wind gusts of about 40 at least. Its too windy to sit on the deck. I don't want to complain because its not freezing.

Don't be to mean to the little frogs.

Hey y'all,

Y'all be sure to keep me in your prayers this next week, I've decided to take on a part-time job working in the kitchen of the nursing home that Susan and Jan work at.  I've been wanting to get a job for awhile now but wasnt sure I could handle it yet so now we'll find out I guess.  Its only 5 hours a day 5 days a week so that should be a good start, it's been at least 10 years since I've worked at a job so I'm kind of nervous but excited at the same time.

Jan we'll make plans one weekend soon after you go to OK and us to Columbia to come down and visit and show ya how to make a planter, or I can make ya as many as ya want if your fingers aren't up to it.  Hope they didn't work ya to hard tonight.

Y'all have a great Easter weekend, stay dry.

Andy

Andy thanks for the plant holder....it is beautiful but i know with my old arthritic hands i will never be able to do that but Joe might be able to learn how to do that.
Im sure you will be able  to do well at work...i hope that your legs and back will be able to do it. what will you be doing and what hours will you be working ...i was going to ask you that today and forgot it.
yeah when you all get back let me know and you all can come down ...
