WHATS HAPPENING
This weather is so beautiful and i am off work again today im about to work myself to death. lol ...I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned on flower beds and around fruit trees yesterday. I worked outside all together about 6 hours. mostly bent over pulling weeds....i dont know how so many got to growing so fast. last week it was cold and today we need to get the yard mowed wow. I guess that is what Joe and George will get done today while i go at some more flower beds. the one big bed is so hard to de weed it has loads of flowers in it that come up on their own by self seeding and if i just pull everything up then i get lots of seedlings up too. so i dont worry about it till things start to grow. then i pull out lots of the extra flowers too...but when it all gets up bigger and blooming i dont have to worry about the weeds much the flowers crowd out the weeds . lol so that one i get to be lazy on ...
well i need to get outside and get all my tomatoe plants sit outside to help harden them off and all the other plants too. I spend about a half hour every morning and evening taking out and then in the evening putting back in lol ....a heavy rain or temp dropping below 40 would harm them at this stage.
My garden with the early stuff is all coming up and looks so pretty all in a row out there...
well got to get and start working on all of this before the day gets away from me. Love you all
You know what i will be doing so let me know what your day is planned for...
Jeanie where are you? Barbara how are you doing.

Jan, I can't see Max putting out cages for rabbits. He's going to a nursery to get something to put on the plants. He's sure anxious to get outdoors to putter around.
Max saw the orthopedist yesterday. The doctor thinks his back and leg problems are related. Monday he will have an MRI of his neck. He got some new pain med and thinks it's helping. I've told him no vacation if he's having back problems hoping that will be an insentive to quit complaining. He's 73, almost 74, so he should expect to have aches and pains.
I'm off the next 4 days. Hope to get the kitchen walls painted. Our handyman is coming Monday to paint the ceiling in the kitchen.
This week I've avoided the scale. Haven't weighed all week. I was weighing every morning and decided I need to eat healthy and quit worrying about the numbers on the scale. I had one day of head hunger. Just kept thinking I wanted to eat but I think thin people have that too sometimes. Can't let it get out of hand and do it often.
I cooked up a whole package of lentils but I'm not fond of them. I was hoping I would like them and they would be an easy lunch to take to work. Won't be fixing them again.
Hope everyone has a sunny day to enjoy.

Hey i disagree about you should expect pain when you get old....they say no if you dont have a reason for it ....like arthritis or such. and yes leg and back pain is usually related some how...
I dont like lentils by them selves....add some of them to soup or other beans as you cook them ...pretty good that way but by themselves they dont taste great to me for sure...
well we had a great sunny day again got up to 88 today...talk about burning the skin. im really getting dark again. ...

Not really any news, I'm at work so can't be on here for very long. Beautiful day - went out at lunch and got another laser treatment on my toe tattoo. Hurts like heck - way more hurt to get it removed than to put it on!!! Rescheduled my extended abdominoplasty for May 12. They put it at noon which makes it much better for us - no having to leave Springfield at 3:30 in the AM. Got a motel room with a handicapped bathroom - thought getting up and down to the stool might be too much of a challenge away from home. We'll probably just stay one night unless DH gets too freaked about driving me home after only one day. I know it will hurt!!! but - I'm excited to get rid of this hanging floppy mess. Know many have it worse but to me it's really all I see.
Gotta get something done here. Hugs to all. I hope to see you on the 9th at Circle of Friends.

Extended Tummy Tuck with KU Residency Program
01/08/2010 ....Lost another 7 lbs with TT.
Well this is attempt number two. Got my post typed and was ready to submit and hit the wrong key again and lost it all.
Sorry I haven't been on here much this week, been a little down in the dumps, think maybe the reality of approaching surgery and some other issues that seem to come out when I don't eat a ton of food to cover up.
Jan~I think the tomato is the best part of a garden. Think maybe we'll get ours tilled up tomorrow and try to compost and get ready for tomatoes. Want cucumbers and maybe some peppers too. If we have a good garden will try some fall veggies when it cools off. Might put out some OKRA. I love Okra scramble with eggs for breakfast, and of course pickled is great.
Gonna make this short, gotta fix supper and since I have to re-type time is getting close. DH went to Springfield every day but no work, he's tired and probably hungry. Gonna make burgers and salad, easy, fast and pretty good.
Hope everyone has a good evening. Will talk to ya all later.
I love the tomatoes too in the garden....they seem like the crown jewels or something. ..so did you all decide to put the garden where it was before ? if you can find someone that has horses they may let your have all the horse poop that you want to put on your garden....make sure it isnt too fresh.lol might burn up the tomatoes.
will miss seeing you on the 9th so be sure and let me know anyway what you find out on the 6th ok?
If you dont want to tell everyone until the 9th then you can private email me ok>?>?>
