WHATS HAPPENING FRIDAY?

Wow it is Friday already , are you sure? this week went by really really fast. maybe because i worked quite a bit this last week...or seemed to. I tell you what if every night i worked was last night i dont think , no i know i would be trying to find some other line of work....there are other things i enjoy more but they just dont pay as well. lol so i guess i will keep with the hard work at times.
They put me on the unit last night and of course i know nothing about any of the patients there. but luck would have it one of the best aides i have ever seen was working there and she knew all of them and was great. but then we got a new admit then on top of that 2 different doctors came in at the same time to do rounds and so all of the patients there got lots and lots of new orders. My desk was piled high with charts and all had new orders lots of them. good grief that was a mess and it took me 8 solid hours of work to get all of it done. plus giving meds and treatments and insulins and coumadins and then the good part of nursing of one on one helping them understand what is going on with them and helping them deal with it.  needless to say i was totally swamped under. had one potty break all night and that was the only time i left the area.

Today we are going into Springfield....going over to Wickmans gardens on Fort street...they are having their Geraniums on sale ....they always have such big pretty ones ...these are a 1.45 or 1.49 each for a four inch pot...that is really good. and they have a great variety of colors. i love the dark ones. like the purple and burgandys...but i love all of the colors. i will bring them home and pot them up in the pots i want them to stay in and keep them in the green house till it is time to sit them out. This other girl at work wants me to get her some and gave me 24.00 to get her some stuff too. lol

I took Susan and Andy some eggs to work with me yesterday and i now have orders to sell eggs to 4 people so i will have to get my girls busy ...might even have to buy a couple more hens. lol . i dont know what to charge for the eggs tho...does anyone buy organic eggs from a farmer or farmers market or anything....these are extra large brown eggs for the most part....except for the green eggs i get from the other two hens. this one girl said she pays 2 dollars a dozen for them at the farmers market in the summer time but if i can sell them to her she would rather buy them from me. i ask them all if they minded the green eggs mixed in and they said no that would be fun to keep them for their kids or grandkids. lol this one girl ask did you color them lol....told her no they came out of the chickens that way....she couldnt believe it until one of the guys that works there said yeah his dad had a whole flock of the hens that laid green eggs ...i said you know someone needs to develope a hen that laid different colored eggs. then all you would have to do at easter times is just boil them lol
no coloring involved lol lot less mess ....

Boy is it ever foggy out this morning.....last night with the moon and stars shining and the fog it was really wierd looking ...looked like a movie set you know like for the fog. all we needed to go with it was one of those ole fog horns on boats .....lol

HI Jan and others!
TGIF! Goodness, it has gone by quick but I know the weekend will go just as quick...I've got a seminar this evening about high anxiety, a fund raiser garage sale tomorrow morning at 6:30 a.m., then Sat evening we have some couples coming over to watch the first 3 hrs of our Song of Solomon DVD..this is the 3rd time that's been set up and something always interferes, so this time we pray it works out! it's a great presentation we went to at James River last spring and liked it so much we bought the dvd of it to share with others (6 hrs total).
I'm pretty sure we are going ahead with the April 9th date for the eating addictions presentation at COF but we'll record it. I'm waiting for the final confirmation form the presenter to be certain it's still good before I put up the official post.
I've been fighting a bad cold/sinus infection...got on some meds from the doctor so hopefully will begin feeling better now.
My daughter who has had so many issues with fever has been feelings good now for several days. thank God!
I was excited to know a couple of my OH friends are having plastics soon...Lana and Lisa...SOOO EXCITING!

Everyone have a great weekend!!!

hey no wonder your weekends go by so fast you have a lot going on dont you?....that is great for the April 9th date ....if i think of anything i would want to ask her i will email you the question or questions...if it is taped i think that would be great.  the DVD tape sounds wonderful...how are we going to get the recorded tape to everyone that doesnt attend that night?
The reason i and Sugar wont be there is we are taking her Joy group from church to Ok. to the Azaela festival. we make the plans before we knew the support group was going to be changed to Friday night. thats ok i know everyone can do without us one night lol....I know i could really get some good usage out of the Food Addictions presentation. i dont have problems with it in the spring and summer because i have trouble eating enough as im outside working, it is when im bored and stuck in the house....i cant leave things alone.
Now we can add Susyalba to the list of plastic surgerys ....guess they are wanting it off before another hot summer. ....
Glad your daughter is doing better. will keep praying for her. and you need to get yourself well. you have too many irons in the fire to be sick.

Good afternoon OH,

Had kind of a funny week. DH has been able to work, I stayed home and looked at the house work I need to do and opted to ignore it. Don't really know why I get a bug to not do certain things, not that I love house work, but it's not all that bad. Oh well I did the dishes and laundry.  LOL. So we can eat and won't smell funny.

We did have a job that I had to do last night, DH can't drive at night, was nice to get out of the house.

Have had food problems, and think I am a food addict, My problem is I know this but can slip in a heart beat. At least am getting closer now to the beginning of my new life.

Jan~I'll bet you are like a kid in a candy store when you go to buy your flowers. Kind of like Christmas to you I'll bet.

Congrats to you young ladies that have dates for your P.S..

Gonna post and finish up on the PC. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

JEANIE;;;;; hey it is good that your husband has felt like working this week...amazing what a little O2 will do for a person huh? lol

hey dont worry about it we are all food addicts. thats what made us fat in the first place , now the surgery wont fix your head but it will make it a little easier to not fall by the wayside so much.

i didnt get to the flower shop today decided since it was so pretty out we would stay home and get some work done. whew i about wore myself out...planted and planted had my hands in the dirt all day long. transplanted some peonies and naked ladies. transplanted some spreading iris...they just go crazy dug and dug on some honesuckle that keeps trying to bury the rental house. everyyear i think i have it all but more comes back  but at least there is only about half of what i did have.
Now i have to get Joe to dig up some rose of sharon bushes that are crowding the porch out ...
they are fairly good size but they have very shallow roots. and are easy to transplant....anyone want some...
anytime i get to be in flowers , planting flowers, transplanting flowers and especially buying flowers i have a good good time...

Hey i will give Susan a couple of bags of zinnia and marigold seeds to bring to you for your beds this year.....since i wont see you till May and you might want to get them into the ground ....but not too early ok
