Good golly miss molly am i sore this morning lol i always do this every year. i go from doing not a lot of anything to working hard outside all day long. I was so tired last night that all i did for the guys supper was heat up some ham threw some frozen bisquits in the over and heated some corn up for them and told them thats it...while i made me a protein shake lol , then took a long hot bath in the whirlpool and went to bed really early for me anyway....was sleeping really good and Joe came to bed and within 5 minutes he was snoring over his cpap mask and coughing about every couple of minutes so i was awake , went to the couch and slept the rest of the night there, just got up so now i have my protein coffee and am feeling at least awake.

I planted 6 rows of early veggies in the garden yesterday....I hope they all do well.....The chickens arent happy with us for blocking off the door to the garden area. and shutting the gate so they are confined to the back garden area and the coop...they showed it too yesterday they only laid 3 eggs lol seems like any little thing upsets them too , normal females huh?

Joe went fishing yesterday but didnt catch anything yet ....they are starting to catch white bass at slough holler. Jeanie hopefully it will pick up really good hear in a day or two....the next warm pretty day we will have to give it a try ok? I work Monday and have a doctors appt with the surgeon that did my knee on Tuesday maybe wed..if it is sunny and warm nothing worse than trying to fish when it is cold and nasty...im not that dedicated of a fisherman ...

well needless to say we opted to stay home yesterday because it was so pretty so we could do some things and are going to Wickmans today....sure hope they still have lots and lots of flowers left after the start of the sale yesterday....Susan said there were lots and lots of people there. so dont know maybe, hopefull , yes there will be .....i sent an email to my friend that works there and ask her but havent heard anything from her i bet she was worn out too if they had lots of sales ...

well got to get busy and get ready to go....after Wickmans we are going to K-mart for me some new shoes and then to Clever to hear Sugars grandkids in their church band perform should be cute.
love you all have a great day that the Lord has made...

Good afternoon OH,

Doing OK now, was a little bit of a bitty (that's the nice way of saying it), got very irritated with my DH, and let a lot of anger come out at him. Didn't turn out too bad, because one of the things I complained about got done. My sons have been doing improvements for us and have kept my mouth shut, but they left a mess here and I am tired of looking at trash laying all over my property, so it came out when I was angry and my DH called the sons and told them I am mad about it and they actually came out and started cleaning up. I think it's fair since I didn't make the mess that they do clean up. If they did work on a house and got paid they wouldn't dare leave the stuff they left here. Oh well that's all the griping.

We did get to spend some quality time the 4 younger grandsons. It's so hard to believe how fast they grow up. Jacob is next to youngest and he looks just like my DH did when he was a baby. I just sit and watch them and can see their parents.

Had a couple of bad food days. I am paying for it now though and I think the good lord is letting me have a peek of what eating the carbs will do to me in the future. Have had gas and been irregular for two days. Hoping it will pass tomorrow. Been good today.

I think we're getting ready to get some rain. It got totally dark. Gonna post this and go do something else. Talk to you all later.

Rain, rain.....go away!!  Yesterday was beautiful but today isn't.  I spent most of yesterday at St. Luke's Hospital waiting and waiting for my husband's procedure to be done and over with.  He had to be there at 10:30 for the procedure at noon.  It was 12:45 when they took him back to do the procedure.  Two hours later he was taken to a room and had to lie flat for 6 hours.  I went home and had to go back at 8:45 to pick him up. The dogs needed to be let out after being in since 10:00 and the chairs there weren't comfortable at all.

I stopped at Costco and spent big bucks but got some good stuff.  They have a new RTD protein so I took a chance and bought a case.  It's pretty good.  I like it slightly better than Atkins but it tastes very much like Atkins.  It has 30 grams of protein.

I've tried so many different proteins and my overall favorite after 2 years is Isopure vanilla.  Next time I buy powder I'm going to get the Isopure vanilla and chocolate and add flavored SF syrup if I want a flavor.  The vanilla is delicious in coffee.

Today we went on a tour bus to Walnut, KS, to the Chicken-Pickin restaurant and show.  Great food!  The chicken was fried and I've not eaten fried for 2 years.  I've always, even before WLS, taken the skin off chicken.  Just can't stand the thought of eating chicken skin.  I ate almost all of half a chicken breast, green beans and half the potatoes.  Gave my biscuit to hubby.  Dessert was a root beer float and I knew that would be a mistake so I passed.  Any ice cream, whether it's SF or not makes me nausuas and top that off with a sugar root beer, I would have been so sick.  Didn't even look good to me.

I had planned to wear an outfit I bought several years and couldn't wear because the pants were to tight.  It's a 1X.  I wore it once right after surgery and it fit.  I put the pants on today and they are huge.  It's a 1X.  Not sure if I will alter it.  I'll probably take it to a consignment shop.

The forecast is for the 70s by next Thursday.  Won't that be great!!
