We got about 7" of snow.  Our little 9 lbs. Sammy could hardly walk in it.  Max cleaned off the deck and made a path in the yard for the dogs.

Yesterday I went out in the snow to Kmart.  They had slacks for $7.99 and dresses on sale but the slacks didn't fit right and the only dress I even considered looked hideous on me.  I did get good buys on shoes and came home with 4 pair.  I also found the perfect curtains for my kitchen.

Last night I fixed the best burgers.  I'll post the recipe. 

Susie, thanks for the info about the Baldknobbers.  We like them.   I think we'll forget SDC.  If we come down on May 14th I will attend the support group then Saturday we can shop the malls and see a show maybe during the day and one that night.  We always head back mid morning on Sunday.   There were several deals that looked good but you have to attend a 2 hour tour.  I definitely don't want to do that.  I'm not going to buy any property down there although I wouldn't mind living down there. 

I'm going to try keeping my carbs very low and see if I can get some pounds off. 

Jo are you still planning on staying with us in the guest house or in Branson? Im May should be nice weather or at least we can only hope that we still arent having snow lol
dont that make you mad when you go to try things on and nothing fits right? I have that trouble all the time , that makes me not want to shop. I have never liked to shop tho. I like to go in and buy something and know that it will fit and walk out. i guess that is why i wear so many jeans and t shirts lol in the summer i like wearing the stretch capris and t tops they bend and move with me while i am out working.
i really need to get to K mart to get some more of the thera shoes.
