BETTY IS HOME
GOD LOVE HER... She is in so much pain right now.
I sent her a quick text asking if she was home or not ( I had talked to her earlier this a.m. and she told me that if they could get coordinated her home health care that she would get to go home today)...
She called me back but could only stay on the phone for a very short time due to the pain that she was in.
Evidently they DID get the home health care done... and she is home...and thankfully so as she could not get any rest in the hospital. She is still NPO and has come home on TPN and will be that way for at least a week til she goes back to the dr. for a followup. I believe that she said that they would do another leak test at that time...and depending on the results?????
She was in so much pain as the @#$% home health nurse had her sitting up for over an hour trying to explain how everything she is hooked to is working. She can't stay sitting up that long due to the pain/incision issues...
PLEASE PLEASE send some healing thoughts and vibes her way. I have known her for a long long time and I know that this girl is hurting... it saddens me just to hear the pain in her voice....
